This, they spent too much time on the miscarriage (this sounds AWFUL and I know they're common but do we have to have about 3 miscarriage/abortion story lines per year it's too much)

Well it would have been the quickest but that wasn't what the helicopter was for. It was for bringing over the emergency supplies for Johnny, then it left again. The ambulance was already on it's way, but the traffic had to clear first. Hence the helicopter. Then once the traffic cleared, Johnny was taken to hospital.

I don't know what you've been watching... I'm glad he's dead because even if Jane has memory loss the hospital revealing that he didn't have a brain tumour will expose to Lauren that Abi and Max lied to her but the stupid cow probably won't believe it!

Jane would forgive him for trying to save her in the end

Killing Jonny off would have worked best for the Carters storyline

Rob! 08-09-2017 07:43 PM

So ****ing stupid killing off another Beale child. SOC has genuinely destroyed this show

Maybe but I feel like they just put a helicopter in for no reason or to try and be dramatic.

Yep. Let's just have Peter die off screen. I wonder how much Abi is going to try and scrounge off of the Beale's now she has Steven's baby but failing because Lauren has the better baby.

I guess so, but without it, Johnny would've probably died.

Good! Honestly they should've used this as an opportunity to kill off the deadwood.

Wizard. 08-09-2017 08:03 PM

This week: Gas explosion, arson, shooting, ambulance turning over.

Next week: Dot eats a curry that's a bit spicy.

Firewire 08-09-2017 08:03 PM

Wasn't Kellie excellent

Rob! 08-09-2017 08:03 PM

I honestly cannot believe that SOC looked at Aaron Sidwell and Ted Reilly and decided that Aaron was the better actor to kill off.

Probably because Aaron could pull off a death scene

Ashley. 08-09-2017 08:05 PM

Steven's death was premature - he was in the middle of a storyline. Would've been better if everyone'd found out about the "brain tumour" first.

Firewire 08-09-2017 08:05 PM

Yeah I agree

Firewire 08-09-2017 08:06 PM

I wanted everyone to find out about Abi being pregnant with his baby too (with him still there)

BBUK-Fan 08-09-2017 08:08 PM

Steven death too predictable. Awful week

Denver 08-09-2017 08:09 PM

I feel Abi isnt pregnant

Would've been good to see everyone abandon him and then have him die with nobody by his side - a lonely death would've fit well with the character, and ironic too as his fear of being lonely is why he's done everything that he did.

BBUK-Fan 08-09-2017 08:31 PM

Steven being in love with Abi and her loving him just confuses me when I thought he loved Lauren but I didn't think she loved him. Wtf happened?
