Looks already better BB19 cast tbh
And didn't they do the whole "saving half of the house" thing last yeear? lack of effort tbh
same goes for the BB App. Last year America also voted for powers to give each week to HGs.
Allison, wtf?

No Paul -> Better cast

Calderyon 29-06-2018 06:29 PM

Btw, I love how sad Paul looked on the premiere when he realized he was not going to be in this years cast.

The move towards audience participation has been going on a while, and with the nominations this week you might see why.

Calderyon 29-06-2018 07:17 PM

Tbh, if i was a house guest, i wouldnīt care about care about the audience being entertained, but my own game.

I know it has, I'm just saying production is being lazy this year. It's a poor attempt at creating something new. OK we get it, they want the public to be involved, but do something else. I mean, Over the Top worked kinda well so take inspiration from it, and not giving random powers every week.

I bet you money Allison is planning on bringing him for All Stars 2 but she knew if Paul was back for a third year in a row people would have lost it. But nobody wants to see him back anywhere lmao

Oh, i know that. And this heīll have an 8 weeks safety + a never-expiring veto (Power of Grodno, i think itīs called) that he can use anytime he likes, even on final 3.

Calderyon 29-06-2018 09:19 PM

Tbh i think majority of the ones (veteran houseguests) in the audience have already been pre-casted for that (All Stars), i think.

JerseyWins 29-06-2018 09:22 PM

I'm hoping that the reason they had so many BB alum in the audience is that NEXT year is finally All Stars II :fc:

Candice will evict Paul first :clap1:

I fell asleep at the end of the premiere so just catching up now and omg I'm IN TEARS @ them turning Sam into a robot :joker::joker::joker::joker::joker::joker::joker:: joker::joker::joker::joker: this show is soooooooo extra

Jack_ 30-06-2018 02:04 AM

Narrator: "16 new houseguests began the battle for a half million dollars. Among them ... the pagan witch, the tiny dancer"

:skull: :laugh2: bye

Jack_ 30-06-2018 02:55 AM

trash and predictable noms! My faves so far have been JC, Sam and Steve (who is surprisingly lowkey amusing) so this sucks. Hope it's not gonna be one of those seasons where we have a terrible pre-jury eviction order :(

also what's the ages of this cast? It *seems* older than normal, but idk if that's legit or just through their personalities. Feels almost BB10 esque?

LemonJam 30-06-2018 03:35 AM

Okay I've finally caught up and despite the obvious cringeworthy production I'm kinda all aboard for the season so far. The cast is great, the house is cute, the twists and comps are excessive but the robot is hilarious tbh.

JerseyWins 30-06-2018 03:58 AM

Watching BB19's premiere (on BB20's live feeds lol) and it's made me realize BB19's premiere was SO much better than 20.

The trifecta of Kevin, Josh & Paul in the 19 premiere :worship: Plus so many other likable people. Elena was actually kinda funny in this surprisingly and also Matt's generic "I'd love to play with you, I'd love to play against you man" pitch for the friendship bracelet :joker: :joker: :joker:

Anyway, point of me even mentioning this was even though I'm liking this cast too I think that premiere wasn't the best start for the season, there's been tons better including last year.

No. Ew.

DouglasS 30-06-2018 11:37 AM

The premiere made me miss the earlier seasons - where people just spoke normally in the DR... and said their thoughts.. and were not aiming for TV / saying silly things to the camera knowing it'd be aired... When Big Brother was natural. I don't know when it changed to become so false. I think BB12 was the start of the OTT fake DR's from my recollection.

At least last year's felt somewhat like an event, you'd think it'd be the other way round given it's their milestone 20th season.

Vladimir 30-06-2018 03:01 PM

Uneventful first two episodes for me. I'm usually fine with embarrassing stuff this show provides us with but that robot thing is so cringe-worthy.

Don't have any favorite HGs so far (don't hate anyone either).

You know the DRs are scripted? Blame the producers.
