I'll be a near wreck from 3pm.

The Rotherham v Coventry match postponed.
So I'll just kind of hope Huddersfield slip up too.

Just please Birmingham, really go out there and just attack.
A win today is a near must to get.

joeysteele 13-03-2021 04:20 PM

Oh well, I think this season cannot be saved now.
Disastrous result today for Birmingham.

Mystic Mock 16-03-2021 01:43 PM

Bowyer needs a miracle to pull us out of this mess.

He will have decent players on paper to work with though which is fortunate, but Bowyer will need to sort out whatever is wrong behind the scenes if we are to have any chance at staying up.

Mystic Mock 16-03-2021 10:51 PM

Congratulations to Charlton tonight.

That's definitely how you come back from a ropey start to a game, not a bad start for Johnnie Jackson as Interim Manager.

I see you’s have Bristol City today. I’m backing the blues on my 5 fold (:. Bristol have been on some really bad form lately so I’m hoping that the blues will take advantage of that.

I'm sorry about your bet.

Tbh I was completely shocked at our performance during that game, hopefully it can't get any worse.:joker:

A great result tonight for you guys, you're in the playoffs at the moment, :fc: that you guys can hold on in there.

I bet he needed a strong drink after that performance . I needed about 5

My bets are always tragic Idk why I bother still xD

A shame tho I was really rooting for the blues to win that game :( Hopefully the managerial change can boost a bit of morale and get the team in a bit of form.

A good result we got tonight but we still have a lot of issues that need dealing with. I hope that our new owner will make the right decision that will help move the club forward.

Your betting skills can't be any worse than mine.

Reading is a team that does tend to be a very attacking minded team so I'm hoping that we can hit them on the break a few times and hopefully a couple of the chances will go in the back of the net at least.

Counterattacking Football is definitely our best shot at winning tonight's game imo.

And Charlton's new owner is definitely being put to the test here, who is the favourite to get the Charlton job out of interest?

I agree Mock I think your best hope is to get them on the counter. Reading, with the position in the table they are in will definitely want to get 3 points and knowing the situation with the Blues atm, they want to take full advantage of that.

He is indeed mate. I’m sure that Michael Laudrup was a favourite along with Jonnie Jackson (our current caretaker manager). I’d personally like to see Chris Wilder, he did a great job at Sheffield Utd when they were in the Championship.

It really is.
This has been a tense match for me.
My nerves are wrecked.

Really a very important win and start.
Phew.

joeysteele 17-03-2021 10:29 PM

I'm dying to see Mock's response to this win.

Laudrup did okay at Swansea I think didn't he?

Chris Wilder would be fantastic at Charlton I agree with you on that, and you guys are a big club who are sitting quite pretty in the table, I don't see why any Manager currently available wouldn't want to take that job on tbh.

And we were both right, Reading were so focused on getting the 3 points that they ended up being reckless defensively.

Oh it was very tense, I swear I kept looking at the clock more than actually watching the match in the last 10 minutes.:joker:

Great start for Lee Bowyer, I hope that this move from Charlton works out for him as he doesn't really deserve to be associated with the mess that Ren has put us in.

Yes and didn't that clock seem to move really slowly Mock.

Oh it really did Joey, I don't think that 3 points have ever mattered more to this club than it does at this current moment.

Mystic Mock 20-03-2021 04:13 PM

What a shock that the well rested Rotherham won against Bristol City today.

In fairness to Blues we actually played okay I thought, it was just that Watford were way more clinical in front of goal.

Ironically if we play like that against Swansea I'd fancy our chances given their recent form.

But seriously with Rotherham how they've not been punished is ridiculous.

Mystic Mock 23-03-2021 08:23 PM

Poor Bristol Rovers having a perfectly good goal disallowed.:joker:

And how did the Referee in the Barrow vs Grimsby game not notice that the Grimsby GK had knocked the ball away for a corner?:joker:

And some people say Referees get it harsh, but even a 5 year old could do a better job than what Andy Woolmer & Ben Speedie did tonight.

Dogeatdog 23-03-2021 08:46 PM

Peterborough lost today which means they’ve only won once in their last 6 games and it didn’t do us any favours at all. Blackpool now go above us and still have 3 games in hand to play yet and it’s the same for a lot the teams in the top half.

Just hoping that all the results don’t go against us :fc:

I wonder what has gone wrong at Peterborough at the moment?

Looking at the current form could Peterborough shockingly miss out on making the playoffs? Because they've only picked up 4 points in their last 5 games while Charlton have picked up 9 points in their last 5 games and are on an unbeaten run.

I wouldn't rule yourselves out just yet.

Birmingham score an important injury time penalty to get a much needed win
