Listening to Javid this morning.
Quite frankly he may be just as bad or unbelievably worse than Hancock as Health Secretary.

I think this is a good video, someone that knows what they are talking about and no agenda

Crimson Dynamo 13-12-2021 09:33 AM

The Infrastructure
for one million a day vaccines
is not yet ready.

LBC :Live

Yet last night Johnson said we must
all get 3rd jab..........

Alf 13-12-2021 09:46 AM

I assume these boosters have to be the same as the two vaccines that people have already taken?

I mean, you can't take a Pfizer booster jab if you had the Astra vaccines, right? You have to take Astra boosters, right? Or is that wrong?

Pretty sure the only boosters are Pfizer or Moderna ... regardless of the initial two vaccine jabs

If I was in charge
I would force all people to get the Vaccine
Except any that medically can not

The unvaccinated are filling our Hospitals

So do they both do the same thing if you had the Astra vaccine, do they boost the Astra vaccine?

bots 13-12-2021 10:16 AM

the pfizer and moderna vaccines both do the same thing and are proven to boost the immunity levels up no matter what people had as their previous vaccine

but if people catch covid naturally and thats the way they want to do it, its the same as being vaccinated. As long as we have the bed capacity, its not a problem

Taking all politics out of it. And conspiracies out of it. Isn't it all just so sad. Remember the times when we wouldn't have to hear about vaccines or masks. Or social distancing and all of that. Kids growing up will think this is how life has always been. It's sad. My son is 2 in April and it seems like nothing is changing. Yes there was a step in the right direction with the vaccines initially and everything started opening up again but it's clear this isn't going away. I miss the old ways so much

This has been pretty conclusively shown not to be the case.

They boost your immunity level, they don't "boost the vaccine". Vaccines don't stay in your system long term. They stay in your system for a few weeks while your immune system learns about them, and then your immune system destroys them.

99%+ of all boosters are Pfizer (e.g. I had 2x AZ and Pfizer booster). The only reason someone would get an AZ booster is if they're allergic to something in Pfizer/Moderna.

i think we have just been very fortunate, particularly as international travel has expanded over the last few decades, it's a miracle we didnt get hit with something bad before. At least now we have some decent tech to deal with it.

Kids get used to their environment very quickly, it will be no big deal to them one way or another

Boris Johnson says that at least one patient has been confirmed to have died with Omicron in the UK.

Speaking during a visit to a vaccination clinic near Paddington, in west London, the PM says: "Sadly yes Omicron is producing hospitalisations and sadly at least one patient has been confirmed to have died with Omicron.

"So I think the idea that this is somehow a milder version of the virus, I think that's something we need to set on one side and just recognise the sheer pace at which it accelerates through the population. So the best thing we can do is all get our boosters."

That’s just how I feel ... we basically had it good before Covid but never appreciated it .

One of my main disappointments is that the latest data / evidence apparently suggests that the damn Covid-19 virus was indeed created in a Chinese laboratory :(

We had all that coming and going ( initially it was thought to be lab created then they blamed the Chinese markets) then whatever ..

So that’s tragic if true .

bloody amazing isn't it, no reports of anyone dying in SA with 20% vaccination rate but of course the UK has a death...

start giving us the facts about these deaths because too many deaths are being attributed to covid when they haven't died of covid at all

if you watch the video i posted a little earlier - which i think everyone should watch - it says there were 10 deaths in SA up to 5th december

Beso 13-12-2021 11:54 AM

The patient who died could not have been a CONFIRMED case of omicrom.

sure they could, they do a test for it in hospital. We don't know if it was that that killed them of course .... incomplete info is as bad or worse than no info

The language is important. Dying with covid or dying from covid are not the same
