Rather embarrassing, it's clear she has ceded control to Hunt who isn't particularly popular in the parliamentary party himself

he was out in the first round of the leadership election i think. The whole thing is just a gigantic mess. Economically, we will probably have stability, but i hate to think what the cuts are going to do to services

tory mp's saying it's in the national interest to keep truss and get stability. But the tories are in no position to talk about stability ..... it's laughable. Let the people decide

They should have kept the 1p cut. Everyone would have been able to keep more of their own money that way...

In the January 2025, General Election

IF your Party holds the nation hostage by not permitting the voters a say in this atrocious shambolic farce of it in governnent.

Refusing to allow them their say until Jan 2025.

Then I hope and think too, any defeat could and should be far worse for them for that disgraceful arrogance and contempt to the UK voters.
No respect whatsoever.

the electorate cant trust Truss, she is finished. If she still remains in place at the next election, the tories will be wiped out. If they get rid of her early they stand a chance of retaining some seats. That's basically it. So whether it happens in 1 month or a year, it will have to happen for the tory party to survive

arista 17-10-2022 12:23 PM

"IF your Party holds the nation hostage"

Yes Joey New Labour did just that
Blair gave his job to Pathetic Brown
he was too scared to call an General Election.

So it's nothing new.
I did not like that,
I also correctly Predicted a
Conservative - LbDem coalition Power

Nothing like the same situations. If it went from Brown to 3 others, then you'd have a point.

SO if you were in anyway consistent, you'd have been calling for an election after Boris left, but you didn't. You have a completely different set of rules when it comes to the tories.

I bet you didn't call for an election after Thatcher, either.

arista 17-10-2022 01:05 PM

Labour have submitted an Urgent Question
in Parliament, for the PM

Prime Minister Truss is very busy.

She has sent Penny Mordaunt
to piss Labour Off.

That will please labour, as they can paint her as too scared to face a question. It makes the tories look even worse, which labour will enjoy.

this is why Penny Mordaunt isn't a serious contender for caretaker leader. She will be going there to defend Truss when no-one in their right mind has any confidence in her

The right wing media in this country are all still employed, and still making this country worse on a daily basis.
