You are quite right about nutters who may attack, but they could do that to any controversial figure, or indeed any innocent person, I really don't believe Meghan was in any particular danger, going by the security experts assessments. |
I think most people in the public eye are at risk to a degree . You only have to see the flour bomb videos of celebrities to know that.

I would say any one of Charles immediate family are at risk from nutters and that should never be downplayed. M & H may be a pain in the neck, but they are not doing the general public any harm and that should be remembered at all times. The Royal family are big enough and nasty enough to look after themselves

I'm living for a clip from the episode everyone is celebrating quite clearly and correctly taking the piss out of the H&M-hating obsessives has been conveniently COMPLETELY IGNORED in this thread :joker:.
As always, I'm going to bet that those who are deliriously happy about South Park's "take down" for H&M didn't... Actually watch the episode at all... and thus have missed that it was aimed squarely at them too. "Well it's a perfect summing up of them but THAT part about ME is totally off the mark, stupid show, stupid cartoon... ". |

Also for those who don't know the show - there's a message in WHO they pick to be the one being unreasonable. In this case it's Kyle. When it's Kyle, the message is almost always that his feelings are "over the top self-righteousness" and he often has an inability to see himself clearly, while insisting that he can see the whole situation clearly.
:clap1: get 'em South Park. |

I'm not saying every anti-royal likes them, but I'd say that ranges from broad indifference to mild dislike (though I can imagine there's any anti-royal who doesn't appreciate how funny "Spare" is  ). But those who "can't stand" her? I think that's mainly with the royalists and little-britaineers. No one else is all that invested. I guess there's the run-of-the-mill misogynists but they can't stand any high profile female so that's moot. |

I don't think its down to Royalists or anti Royalists really, I think its about an individuals own moral code and what they consider tolerable and decent and authentic about a persons actions and that will be different for everyone depending on their own life experiences. |

Nobody goes on and on at you or anyone else for liking her, do you even know why you like her? |

there is no doubt that many people took a dislike to H&M at the way they left the royal family, but that was years ago now. Their constant need to have their voices heard has pissed people off a lot more. I just dont want to hear anything about them ever again, that would make me very happy
|
Thinking about it, it started way before they left. I can remember the frightening entitlement when people couldn’t see their new born baby. They did things their way. They do things their way. That’s what people don’t like.
