Whatever act she perforns today, will not convice me of otherwise.
She is likely to be eager to make an announcement today on the issue.
She is two faced and quite a hard nut to crack.

I haven't a clue how she will play this out today.
However she does.
It will be possibly an Oscar worthy performance of acting.
Maybe she should look at joining a soap like Emmerdale etc:

Two really and VERY close friends don't end up with the rift of one not being able to work or be with the other over secrets kept by one of them, even using lies to cover their personal secret

Had Schofield challenged Willoughby's own integrity then that rift would be more understandable.
His lies though,as she termed being hurt by his lies.
Why hurt by his lies?
She could be angry or sad that he hadn't confided all to her.
HURT though, because of what?

There may be more and maybe she knows OR more likely suspects more.
This today from her will be just about her and saving her status on TV.

I cannot stand her, I have never thought her anything else other than false in her TV image.
Before I'm jumped on for speculation.
Which is all we are left with.
Since I don't believe we've had ALL the truth from Schofield.
We haven't either had I THINK, much real truth from Willoughby either.

Will that be altered today by her.
I doubt it..
Although it would be good to see and hear.

However I still think she should have gone from This morning and Dancing on Ice too.
Because all the time she's now on them.
She will be a constant reminder of this scandal.

Give her another show by all means.
If she had a shred of decency too herself though, she should have gone too and given the show a totally fresh new start.

Yeah she might aswell join one of the soaps lol .

I agree that This morning ( although I rarely watch it ) should get a fresh new start. You're right she will always be a reminder of the Schofield scandal.

I mean let's say we give her the benefit of the doubt. Did she really not know something was off at the ITV studios!??. she was very close to Schofield ... they were both inseparable ,infact before he came out the closet...many people thought they were like a couple.

But yeah her little statement on air , just looks like she's trying to get sympathy and save her career. ITV themselves have alot to answer for aswell, people will be surprised at how much dodgy stuff gets ignored. I think Schofield took advantage of his status and probably thought he was untouchable. Even now he's still trying to manipulate the public.

Willoughby knew sticking by him at the time would help open doors for her . And now that he's been exposed .... she's going to drop him like a bag of garbage ,I wonder who her new on screen duo will be?.

People move on and forget ..

Remember loads of people hating on Becks. ?

Hanging and burning effigies of him after the World Cup ?

Move forward a while and he was back to being the blue eyed boy again and all forgiven .

Holly hasn’t even done anything wrong :)

:umm2: I'm sorry but the intro bit was patronising, insincere and self-centred (on the show, moreso than Holly herself, to be fair). This has all been handled SHOCKINGLY by ITV and whoever is in charge at This Morning, honestly.

My question is. Who was Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein trafficking children to?

When we get that breaking news, give us a shout.

She should be cancelled for that awful segment alone, and Josy with her...bring it in ...we are a family, if they were such a close family surely they noticed Phil was having an affair with the tea boy? Did they go around with their eyes and ears closed, some of the family seemed very aware of it....cough Eamonn....cough Ruth ..cough cough Rylan...

I thought it was awful….starting off with the “I hope you are all ok?…”. Then going on to throw him under the bus…saving her own career was uncomfortable to watch.
Had I been that close with someone and been betrayed that hurt would never have allowed me to say the things she said and the way she said it. In fact I would have showed more vulnerability in the way that once close friendship had been destroyed….it was a dreadful speech and too scripted and it didn’t come from the heart.

Guess it had to be scripted and probably rehearsed many times … what was the option .. Just sit there shaking her head in bewilderment ?

the problem was that it was portrayed by Holly as being a personal statement, and it was obvious to anyone that it was an ITV statement.

They can't have it both ways. It's either a touchy, feely personal program or it's not. That statement basically showed how false the show was

Yeah weirdly Alison seemed more emotional for Schofield ,which is odd ....when Willoughby has been in his pocket for the past 20 years .

I do think they've vastly over-estimated the level of emotional involvement people at home have with the show or its presenters... unless I'm mistaken? Like are there really people sat at home bawling over this? Surely the range of emotions goes from "a bit annoyed" (at the systems that let him get away with this sort of abuse of power at the expense of a young boy) and "largely indifferent" because it doesn't actually affect the lives of the public AT ALL. I get why Holly and the other presenters and crew are upset - this is their livelihood. Folks at home will just watch whatever else is on. It's just generic breakfast telly :umm2:.

Not just more emotional but more sincere, she seemed genuinely confused about how to feel about the whole thing (likely in part because of producers in her ear) and just expressed that.

Holly's was scripted and insincere and it just didn't work at all. It meant absolutely nothing to anyone. I doubt any of it was even her choice... she was given something to read, and she doesn't have the presenting ability to make it sound otherwise.

I was fine but now I just can't stop thinking about poor Philip Schofield and the rest of the This Morning family over at ITV :worry:

I think she was very stupid for marrying that crazy midget man. Not sure if they are still together.

Dermot has ruined his reputation also.
Hes a sneaky little one too.
Can't believe i used to love him on BBLB.
You should have seen the way he dropped Big Brother as soon as his career started to take off.
Should have known then he was a foul little rat.
