No. I've repeatedly stressed to the eyeballs that I inderstand you all have lives completely but as I've already said, we have a start and end date for the game, we have to fit everything in and its not possible to please everybody all the time. We do give advance notice as much as possible in every way. I've more to say but I'm in the midst of housework so it will have to wait.

Josiah. 18-04-2025 05:45 PM

Ben and Shauny, I even understand why you both are saying that. And that's another reason why there's weekend breaks in the game this time around.

We're not trying to take things personally, it's just hard to take in a lack of participation when we've got so much happening at once with people's schedules.

We will do better to notify everyone ahead of time; and for that reason, I'll start by putting the upcoming tasks in the OP of the Highlights & Summary thread.

Just to reiterate I’m not being mean.

I want you to have an amazing game. You’re busy but so are players. You work hard on creating tasks and you want them to be fully appreciated. To do that you need most/all players to be able to participate in them but also need to accommodate their lifestyles/day to day lives.

It is NOT possible to set dates and times in stone. Things happen. Its a two way street. 24 hours tasks are not an option for a start.

Kate! 18-04-2025 05:58 PM

I'll repeat. I personally notified everyone with 25 hours notice of what would be required today and nobody came to me and said there'd be a problem.

Then maybe you need to rework some tasks to accommodate players so your tasks you make can be fully played and appreciated.

Our tasks are always fully detailed and I usually ask for any questions. Today's task was not confusing and only got adapted as we were trying to accommodate everyone. I had to virtually beg people to place bets and support the game and then I had to resort to letting housemates bet.

Thank you Josiah. It’s just better if everyone can take part in the tasks and makes for a fairer game and if we can tweak the tasks a little for that to happen it would be great. Like I said I meant no disrespect.

Also apologies as I’ve posted in this thread twice and I’m aware I’m not allowed to. (Does this mean I get a formal warning from BB?)

Yeah but we’re all busy too. It’s Good Friday, and a small window of time a lot of members won’t be on to see.

I know you say 24 hour tasks are not possible, but they are honestly better. Not saying people need to be on at 3am (as all nighters in this day and age on the forum are too hard) but having 24 hours to complete a task gives you a bigger window to capture more players and forum users time.

Again, this isn’t me coming for you. But you want your tasks to be played and your efforts for them to pay off, a bigger window of time gives you that.

We have an end date in place. We do not have time to make tasks 24 hours, when they really don't need that amount of time. We need to fit all our plans in

Then stop moaning people haven’t participated if you won’t be accommodating.

Josiah. 18-04-2025 06:32 PM

To try and accommodate everyone (and to give some breathing room), the series is being extended by 3 days to 5 May 2025.

This means that instead of 22 days long, this series will be 25 days long.

Niamh. 20-04-2025 09:23 AM

Closing this for cleaning, I'd ask you all to stop the arguing for Josiahs sake, it's very unfair to him

Viewers

Voting is open for the Monday eviction. You may vote today and again tomorrow. You get 10 votes per day. You may choose to vote to evict or to save and say how many votes you want to give to each housemate.

You may choose from.....

Jake...our secret mission man. He did a sterling job.

Jones.. our ball of energy. He got the radio task off to a flying start.

Shauny.. our humorous late night music lover

And

Maru.. our sweet American pie gal who is very lovable

Ammi 20-04-2025 11:55 AM

…ok, I don’t understand……I have 10 votes to save housemate(s) and then another 10 votes to evict housemate(s)…so 20 votes in all and for more than one day…?…or I have 10 votes total to split between saving and evicting and can only vote once but 10 times…?…I’m going to go lay down for a bit while this all absorbs…
