Tonights ratings are probably going to be terrible. The Jonathan Ross show is on and Lady Gaga is a guest, and The Xtra Factor is on and, with it being the first live show, I expect a lot will rush to watch that too.

If someone wants to watch 3 Hours of the X Factor they'll watch the Xtra Factor.. I doubt they will

It seems that BB has a very dedicated hard-core fanbase - the figures for each day are barely changing ..... :idc:

Jarrod 09-10-2011 10:57 AM

It's good to see no figure below 1m. Even on a Saturday. Still waiting on the Official.s

Good in that still no 700,000 to 800,000 mark and on the officials it hasn't yet even gone under 1 million too.

Jake. 09-10-2011 11:16 AM

Look at the second Saturday highlight show official! 1.42 million!

Where are these officials from?

I've been looking on Wikipedia but they are different to these I think

They're officials.

Jake. 09-10-2011 12:48 PM

both are officials...

iRyan 09-10-2011 07:13 PM

The good thing about the ratings this series is that they are consistent at least. Which means the audience is thankfully staying loyal to the show.

Overnights are Un-Official estimates. Officials are the actual ratings released by C5.

Jake. 09-10-2011 07:43 PM

I know what an overnight and an official is, I'm saying that the officials are on Wikipedia and the official figures posted are different from those on wikipedia

Omah 10-10-2011 10:25 AM

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s104/...-with-97m.html

Big Brother appealed to 1.25m (4.6%)

Omah 11-10-2011 09:59 AM

Big Brother attracted 1.39m (7.9%)

Callum 11-10-2011 10:02 AM

Glad to see the ratings are consistent and that it's only dipped under 1 million once.

With the officials it didnt even dip under 1 million though :)

happybbfan 11-10-2011 10:19 AM

whats very interesting here is the official ratings for CBB were 2.8m
Ford said that he expected a slight drop from CBB to normal BB in ratings
but i dont think he expected quite such a drop
if i recall C5 were hoping and expecting 2m a night
even the officials wont meet that target
not sure the sponsor or some of the advertisers will be too pleased either

Twice didn't it?

But I'm glad it's remaining steady. It's still got a loyal fan-base.

Omah 12-10-2011 10:45 AM

Big Brother entertained 1.31m

happybbfan 12-10-2011 10:45 AM

Series Average > 1.6m

Good to see it hasn't gone bellow the million mark yet. Interesting that alot of the evictions are on par with the week day ratings, which could mean that the people who are watching Big Brother, are watching consistently. Still, i really do think that starting this series straight after CBB was a huge mistake, they barely advertised it. From what i saw they just showed a clip after the main shows 1 week before the launch. I think they just assumed that people would tune in because its "Big Brother". Shame that people have been missing out on such an amazing series.

Omah 13-10-2011 10:06 AM

Big Brother continued on Channel 5 with 1.33m (7.6%)

As a comparison, Series three of The Only Way Is Essex continued with 845k (4.5%) on ITV2 from 10pm, as well as a further 132k (1.3%) on timeshift.

Jordan. 13-10-2011 11:01 AM

LOL at the evictions doing worse / no better than a normal week day HL show

-looks at Brian-

I sort of want him to be replaced next year, he can do BOTS with Jamie and Alice...

I don't want Emma doing the live shows though.

So who could they replace him with?

Davina can come back, we'll all just pretend Brian never happened. :amazed:

I kind of am beginning to love Alice Levine, I honestly wouldn't mind if even she hosted the main show. Though Emma in my opinion would be the best choice.

Sorry, but Brian is just not good. I feel bad saying it, but I hope C5 considers hiring Emma or Alice to host the main show next series

MTVN 14-10-2011 10:21 AM

Anyone know them for last night?

Omah 14-10-2011 10:24 AM

Big Brother entertained 1.39m (7.8%)

Thanks, still staying solid around the 1.3/4m mark then

Jake. 15-10-2011 02:19 PM

1.61 and 1.33 for last night with over 630k for bbbots

MTVN 15-10-2011 02:21 PM

Better than the last couple of evictions then I think, suppose it was quite a big one though, good to see BOTS doing well

Jordan. 15-10-2011 03:42 PM

Highest rated eviction since Tashies in the first week :D

Novo 15-10-2011 04:28 PM

Hopefully another 5 or more housemates are up this week it works out so much better with the vote to save and people clearly enjoy evictions more when there is more then 2 housemates up

MTVN 15-10-2011 04:33 PM

Yeah that was the most exciting eviction this series, the head to head ones aren't normally as interesting and tend to be more predictable
