Yes, salad's such a foreign food. Cherry tomatoes oh my.

Why is it so impossible for people to put aside their dislike of someone for a minute and have a bit of common ****ing decency...Christ almighty

JTM45 08-04-2013 02:19 AM

I think, judging by his chosen diet, Peter was probably just a spoilt child who was never encouraged to eat a good and balanced diet and was just given chicken nuggets and pizza to stop him throwing a tantrum!
If he had a genuine food aversion he would not have been able to eat that salad at all, let alone keep it down afterwards.

Yeah, which isn't his problem or own doing

Macie Lightfoot 08-04-2013 02:24 AM

Yes, Peter must have had such traumatic experiences with salads cherry tomatoes any every other food except for chicken nuggets and pizza and the few other things he likes to it  please, he's just picky and probably self-diagnosed himself to avoid the embarrassment.

Jack_ 08-04-2013 02:28 AM

Who the **** are you to tell or second guess what experiences other people have had? 'Just picky' and 'self-diagnosed'? So you're a Doctor now too?

Food Aversion

Food Aversion is a psychological repulsion to some foods caused by emotions associated with the food rather than by any chemical properties within the food. Unlike food allergies or food intolerance, if the offending food is unrecognizable, no adverse reaction results. Anorexia nervosa is seen as an extreme form of food aversion.

To give an example of food aversion, let's take a look at this scenario. A young boy is enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and stuffing with his family. During the meal, his parents get into a huge argument and his father storms out, never to return. Now, as an adult, he still cannot stand to eat turkey and stuffing.

At the far end of the spectrum is the anorexic. Perhaps chubby and teased as a child, a young girl begins to associate any and all food with becoming overweight and the pain of the teasing which came along with being overweight. She now shuns all food at the risk of gaining weight and being subjected to ridicule again.
http://health.wikinut.com/Food-Avers...s-it/v7pglikf/

I'd say it's more likely that you can't put aside your dislike of him for one second to maybe give the guy a bit of a break on this issue. If it were Suzette you'd have been trolling anyone who had dared to tease her

Macie Lightfoot 08-04-2013 02:37 AM

It shouldn't have been an issue, he picked at the salad for a long time but he was able to stomach it down. If his food aversion was as serious as he hypes it up to be Big Brother wouldn't have given him such a task. He's picky, nothing wrong about it but I'm not going to sympathize with him because he's not a fan of salad.

And lol @ the random Suzette mentoin, keep grasping at straws gurl

Jack_ 08-04-2013 03:04 AM

Yeah, because he doesn't want to be on slop...he barely likes any foods as it is so why he'd want to give up those few foods and not eat for the week I'm not really sure. And what if production didn't know how serious it was? They set up a task for Emmett in the hope he'd throw up and made the rest of the houseguests freeze to an arguably risky level in the HoH comp, I'm not complaining but I don't think they're averse to setting up comps that are pushing the boundaries a little.

Only because you know it's true babe, we wouldn't have heard the last of it had been her :) so I'm afraid it's not grasping at straws, keep up the good work on the trolling btw, you've fooled almost everyone, unfortunately though the 'let's not reply to the question asked in this thread but instead lambast this person's opinion' approach doesn't work with me, you keep at it though

Macie Lightfoot 08-04-2013 03:29 AM

If you're really implying that the Comps are inhumane and actually put the HGs at risk, then I don't even know what to say because that's beyond laughable. If Peter's food aversion was as serious as he tries to make it out to be, he wouldn't have been able to stomach the salad as easily as he was able to. He sat and sulked and picked at his food and spat a bit into the sink but it was nothing serious, he got through it. The only boundary this pushed is that Peter's extremely picky, not that Peter has a serious food aversion and he goes through extreme struggles to eat cherry tomatoes because of a traumatic experience.

And it wouldn't have been a big deal of Suzette had a similar task. For one, she wouldn't have gotten such a sympathetic edit and there sure as hell would've been people complaining about how she's all theatrics and her "food aversion" is a crock of ****. I would've loved how ridiculous she would've made the situation but I wouldn't try and pretend like she overcame so much and had a true moment of personal growth. Just like how I cracked the **** up at how outrageous her BS Canada's PoV was. But alas, yes I'm a troll because I disagree with your opinions. The only way people can disagree is if they're trolling, you sure got me nailed.

Marc 08-04-2013 10:50 AM

Emmett disqualified again :bored:

lostalex 08-04-2013 10:53 AM

Jack you are being ridiculous. He only eats chicken nuggets and french fries and hot dogs?? wtf.

That is so ****ing pathetic and childish. You think it's just a coincidence that the only foods he eats are tasty fried foods that every one loves??

Give me a ****ing break. he's a spoilt brat, he doesn't have a "food aversion" he's just a pathetic little spoiled child.

and how funny was it on the eviction show when he said he doesn't miss his mom at all, he only see's her once a year anyway, right after we saw his mom talking about how much she missed him. lol he's such an asshole.

Marc 08-04-2013 11:15 AM

Milk vomit!! :laugh2:

Marc 08-04-2013 11:18 AM

I have a friend like Peter she doesn't eat much food other than a select few items. But I think it's strange. I'm thankful that I can eat all the food I can.

lostalex 08-04-2013 12:21 PM

I have a friend like Peter too, and I slapped him in the face with his mother's dildo.

true story.

LemonJam 11-04-2013 01:34 AM

...what was the logic behind Alec throwing the PoV?

LemonJam 11-04-2013 01:38 AM

...a second task for Peter... seriously, Talla would make this task hilarious, why Peter?

Ugh I so wish the edit between today and tomorrow's episodes would show his awful (seriously horrible) scrambling in a hilarious mocking light but I'm sure he'll get some valiant warrior **** who didn't go down without a fight. But yeah there was no logic behind it he's just a ****ing moron.

JTM45 11-04-2013 01:56 AM

He really is a vile creep isn't he! :yuk:

Jillian should just take Topaz aside and tell her that Alec is rallying against her and trying to get her evicted to save his own sorry ass. Topaz is being made to look extremely stupid at the moment (admittedly a lot of it is her own fault) by Alec and someone needs to tell her.
I bet her friends and family are sharpening knives and pitchforks ready for Alec's eviction!

Brekkie 11-04-2013 09:06 PM

Most stupid move since Marcellas - though if Peter was so sure he didn't need the Veto he could have played a stupid move himself and vetoed Alec instead of himself. I think in theory he'd probably stay if it's Topaz v Peter, but of course when you add in the factor of him pissing people off by vetoing Alec it's probably not worth the risk.

And absolutely agree about Peter getting all the secret tasks, though I thought the Tom task was oen of the best secret tasks I've seen on BB. The moose is also much better located out the back and I did like how they bought Marsha into it too.

Bluerang1 11-04-2013 10:40 PM

Jillian knows she needs to be on the Jury's good side right?

Mokka 12-04-2013 12:48 AM

I heard a juice rumor that I think I'm going to like it if its true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Alec evicted first

Emmett HoH

Topaz and Talla nominated

Peter wins POV

Topaz goes home

and

Spoiler:

Canada gets to vote a jury member back in

Macie Lightfoot 12-04-2013 01:00 AM

Spoiler:

If that's true Peter shows how ****ing stupid he is by not saving Topaz

Bluerang1 12-04-2013 01:09 AM

If that's true

Spoiler:

The show is ruined for me. I didn't think spoilers would be out yet. At least Gary will be voted back in. I should have expected a crappy first Season.

BBUKAUSFAN 12-04-2013 01:38 AM

:hello:
Spoiler:

if everyone on the forums was smart they would put in the spoilers in power play, so they have more points to spend on this rumoured jury player back in vote/ Obviously to get gary back in the game!!

LemonJam 12-04-2013 02:35 AM

idgi why put up Talla instead of Peter.

Macie Lightfoot 12-04-2013 02:45 AM

lmfao he's that stupid.

LemonJam 12-04-2013 02:46 AM

and Peter doesn't save Topaz... what.

Bluerang1 12-04-2013 02:52 AM

This is one of those stupid seasons where an Emmett wins.

LemonJam 12-04-2013 02:59 AM

Returning players... like are they eligible to win etc? What. the. ****.

JTM45 12-04-2013 03:03 AM

It's pretty obvious who's going to get voted back in.

It's a bit of a worry though that it looked like
Spoiler:

Peter
was about to win HOH at the end of the episode!!!!

Are evicted houseguests allowed any contact with their family members before they whisk them off to the Jury house ? That eviction interview set-up would not work in the UK because everyone would have boo'd and hissed when Topaz was asked about Alec the snake.

I have a feeling Emmett wanted to backdoor him and that's why Peter tried so hard for the PoV cause he knew what was coming.

Why the **** he didn't save Topaz though is beyond me, he could've got Andrew out that way surely? The replacement nominee would've no way have been Jillian so Andrew would've been the only person left, and Talla VS Andrew would have surely resulted in:

Topaz - Andrew out
Peter - Andrew out
Jillian - Talla out

Andrew would've left, Topaz and Peter could've aligned themselves and the four-way alliance that the others have going on could've been cut down. In fact, Emmett couldn't have won HoH so it would've been Jillian and Talla VS Peter and Topaz and I'd favour one of the latter two to take that seeing as Talla's not won a comp yet. They could've then taken on Jemmett and things could've gone from there. Now as it stands it's Peter VS the four-way alliance. What the **** were you thinking Peter?!

As for the twist though omfg <3333333333

JTM45 12-04-2013 03:13 AM

I get the feeling that during the ad break Peter probably swore his Mother's life away to not get put up on the condition that he didn't save Topaz if he won POV.
We've seen how Alec and Peter work. They'll sell out their closest allies at the drop of a hat if it benefits their game, and Peter also tried to make out he was getting revenge on Topaz on Liza's behalf (Peter the super-desperate virgin strikes again!) when he voted to evict her.

Someone has to wear the crown of biggest House Slimeball/Creep now that Alec has gone! I think Peter was already sneaking in and taking the crown to wear while Alec was sleeping anyway. He was never far behind for that title.

That is exactly how I got my 131 votes for AJ

Brekkie 12-04-2013 08:56 PM

It does seem Peter still holds some kind of candle for Liza and hasn't forgotten the role Topaz played in getting her out. It was good though tonight that both the noms and the live veto ceremony didn't go how most viewers would have expected.

"I don't know what to do, I'm just a girl"

Wow Jill, Emmeline Pankhurst would've been proud.

LemonJam 15-04-2013 01:29 AM

oh God Emmett and Peter rofl

LemonJam 15-04-2013 01:35 AM

Talla throwing things off the bathroom top rofl.

Jack_ 15-04-2013 01:54 AM

I still can't get over how stupid Peter was to not use the veto to save Topaz, Andrew would've been out and it would've been an even house, and with Gary hopefully coming back they might've been able to tip things in their favour and take on Jemmett. I mean ffs Peter

LemonJam 15-04-2013 01:59 AM

"I think Talla's just too too cute to be on the block" ^_^ I fluctuate from finding Jillian hopeless to hilarious.
