What was the +1 figure for last night?

Rob! 17-06-2016 09:03 AM

Big Brother: 0.91m excl +1 (4.3%)
Love Island: 0.73m excl +1 (3.4%)

Rob! 17-06-2016 09:03 AM

Was it against the footy last night?

armand.kay 17-06-2016 09:03 AM

Excl = excluding right?

Rob! 17-06-2016 09:04 AM

I've literally just woken up. Yes :joker:

Rob! 17-06-2016 09:05 AM

I'm not good in the first ten minutes, it took me ages to type that out:

armand.kay 17-06-2016 09:07 AM

Have the officials for week one been released yet?

Samm 17-06-2016 09:45 AM

1.1 (incl +1)

daniel-lewis-1985 17-06-2016 09:48 AM

Dissapointing.

Gstar 17-06-2016 09:56 AM

Me and everyone else I know hardly ever watch it at the broadcasted time, life is way too busy. The officials should be good

Gstar 17-06-2016 09:57 AM

They should include Irelands atings

I agree with this I don't know why they don't include Irelands ratings.

MB. 17-06-2016 10:24 AM

They really need to stop scheduling it against Love Island

armand.kay 17-06-2016 10:28 AM

Can the yuth get some taste and stop prioritising LI http://i.imgur.com/VADO7jI.gif

Will. 17-06-2016 01:08 PM

Up on last years second Thursday which got 1.05M

Will. 17-06-2016 01:11 PM

I think it's holding up considerably well as LI was getting like 200K views last year and this year it's getting around 800K and BB17 is rating higher than BB16.

Rob! 17-06-2016 01:11 PM

Urgh it needs to be up. As if Love Island has actually gotten so close to it in the ratings.

Will. 17-06-2016 01:13 PM

LI officials are decent, 1.25M for most days.

Rob! 17-06-2016 01:15 PM

I mean fair play to ITV2, they've struck gold this series. Chances are it'll grow next year as well. BB needs to be well out of it's way next year, let's be realistic about this.

Will. 17-06-2016 01:16 PM

BB is around 400K views higher than LI.

Yeah ITV2 deserve, it's a good show.

I mean the cast isn't very diverse and there all young people but it works.

Jack_ 17-06-2016 02:58 PM

Love Island deserve these ratings after such an incredible promo campaign (and a great series to boot), if only C5 had followed their lead the consistent figures this series is posting might've been a little higher

If you don't grab them on the launch, chances are you're not going to at all. The promotion ****ing sucked and this is the result

Tbf though I only saw them promoting LI on ITV and no other channel so that's why it got big numbers because BGT was watched by like 9M.

Jason. 17-06-2016 03:10 PM

Speaking of LI, this year has done amazingly well. Last year the first week averaged 0.5m but this year the first week has averaged 1.3m which is almost triple. And last week did well too with that 1m overnight figure.

C5 do the same tbf - like they only ever show their ads on C5 really. The difference is LI promotes it better within its channel - they have those countdown tags at the top of the screen so anyone watching ITV2 will know when it's on and they even do it during the series as well as prior. Alongside that they have their ads and little snippets and teasers. All C5 do is just show the BB advert during a repeat of Home and Away.

Yeah that's what I meant, they had smilier promotional campaigns.

That's what ITV did, just played the advert on repeat and it got annoying.

*mazedsalv** 17-06-2016 04:16 PM

It's the standard.

I wonder what it will get tonight. Similar? 1.1m again? It won't go up until both Euros and LI finishes.

Will. 17-06-2016 04:17 PM

LI will always have the advantage of having ITV which is a huge Chanel.

LI promotion was less messy and overall good.

Rob! 18-06-2016 02:53 AM

Not expecting great things from tonight. Up against the football, Eurotrash (which apparently was quite the cult show in it's day) and Love Island.

*mazedsalv** 18-06-2016 08:27 AM

Shame ratings will be piss poor for last night, shame because last night was fantastic!

Will. 18-06-2016 08:50 AM

It might not be, I mean it held up quite well last Friday, and there's no Gogglebox this week.

Will. 18-06-2016 08:51 AM

1.12 excluding +1

That's good, should be around 1.3M with +1.

*mazedsalv** 18-06-2016 08:58 AM

Highest excl +1 since the first HL show I think.

Around 1.3m incl +1? It beat Eurotrash on C4 which surprised me

Yeah second highest, the day after launch got like 1.35 excluding +1 I think.

I wonder what +1 looks like. It's usually not large for eviction as it runs 90 mins but i think the reveal/Marco's eviction could have had a decent number wast to tune in after.

Yeah, perhaps it will hit 1.25M.

It's already up on last year first eviction which got 1.1M and BB15's first eviction which got 1.03M including +1 :o

Good to hear! And with more competition!

TomC 18-06-2016 09:26 AM

I think tonight will beat bb16's second Saturday show rating of 650K no problem.

For sure.

Not sure if it will beat last weeks though, but tbh last night was higher than the Friday before, and more exciting, so perhaps....
