Denver 12-05-2019 03:55 PM

The only thing that pisses me off is the fact we won it against a team that has cheated their way to the t but i couldnt be more proud of m team

United need a complete clear out, not even able to beat a relegated team at home, disgrace!

But still it's a massive achievement for 2 players from the same club to get it, when did that last happen?

Denver 12-05-2019 04:20 PM

Denver 12-05-2019 04:21 PM

Can someone explain why they keep calling Man City the best team in the world? They cant even make a CL semi

Thats a good question . Never I reckon, but probably came close when Rooney and Ronaldo were at Man U or in the days of Cole and Yorke at Man U.

Embarrassing for United to end the season with a loss.

They will never be the best until they start taking the biggest competition in the world seriously,

The best team in the world dont lose the Quarter finals 4 years in a row

Thats cuz Pep overthinks big games.

Which means he cant be the best in the world,

Which is why Klopp had to change his way of thinking he use to overthink now he doesnt and it shows,

It's just weird to think thought that the 3 technically best managers in the world are in the PL,

But who goes 1st? Poch will go when they lose the CL, Pep will most likely go when Citeh get the transfer ban and points deduction and Klopp has pretty much stated he will retire at Liverpool

Denver 12-05-2019 04:42 PM

Actually I can see Pep being tempted at returning to Barca

Klopps teams usually fade after about three seasons though. Remember he nearly got the sack at Dortmund.

Poch will go the Man United. Ole isnt good enough and I cant see too many who are for. It will be much like when he was first at Spurs when he had bad characters in the team like Adebayor, Soldado etc. He got rid of the lot and was quite ruthless in doing so. Only someone like Poch would get away with that at Man U.

Pep is difficult to predict though. The money is there for him to dominate for years but Its up to him really.

Season over

Can I interest anyone in following the rugby league during the summer off season of football?

You've had a fantastic season, 97 points is normally enough to crown Liverpool as champions.

That's really bad luck imo.

Congratulations to Man City though.

Klopp has had to change his style of play at Liverpool though which helps a lot and he now has 3 or 4 different formations up his sleeve something he never had at Dortmund,

I think Poch is of to Juventus for certain as Man U are a poison chalice that most managers at the top level will walk away from,

I think Piep wont want Citeh after all the punishment they will receive at the end of this investigation over fake income,

Barca will come calling but so will Madrid but I wouldnt be surprised to see PSG enter the market for Pep

So can you see the best players in the world turning down a chance to play in one of the best squads under one of the best managers to play under Ole and lose to relagted teams at Old Trafford?

They dont have the lure they once did and they cant afford to throw silly money at players like they did with Sanchez now no team will touch him

Its the pressing that usually fades after three years. Just the sheer intensity of playing a full season takes it toll on the players, but Klopp does have a bigger squad than he had at Dortmund.

Poch to Juve could be interesting and Pep to PSG makes al t of sense TBH.

Nuno might be an good idea as Man U are definitely 'a project' in their current state and he's been in charge of similar project at Wolves but I think Man U fans will demand a bigger name. Is Ancelotti availablee

Ancelotti is at Napoli and I doubt he will leave after one season for a job that wont be safe

He's done well at Napoli too.

Denver 12-05-2019 05:12 PM

Man U are in the same position we are when we could only attract Hodgson and Rodgers then if you are lucky a fantastic manager wanting a challenge will come along

Denver 12-05-2019 05:13 PM

Though Dyche or Howe may be tempted by Man U

GiRTh 12-05-2019 05:15 PM

Ya Ya Toure at the Etihad.

Howe might be good but Dyche would last half a season.

Man U, Arsenal and Spurs won't be in contention in the next 5 years. It doesn't matter what manager they have, that will still be true.

Neither will Chelsea, they have a owner who lost interest brought in a manager who has never won anything then have their best player desperate to leave with added on transfer ban

Spurs would be in contention if Levy actually wanted to put money into the squad

GiRTh 12-05-2019 05:28 PM

Abramovich is trying to sell Chelsea so the the billionaire benefactor may be gone soon. They'll be in serious trouble when that happens. Man U are a mess and its gonna take a a three to five years project to get them out of it. Arsenal have a good manager with a terrible squad - except the strikers - They need investment from the chairman but I heard there is only about 45 million to spend. However Barca want Lacazette and if they make a 70 million plus offer then we've no choice but to sell him and use the money to strengthen the squad.
