the diver expert does seem to be a bit full of himself, so that needs to be borne in mind. They perform one task in what is a massive investigation

There's no way that's a person. Judging by the apparent distance (based on the path and patch of grass between her and the hedge) and how tall he looks, he'd have to be a midget. Ignoring that, even in the zoomed in part it's clearly just the foliage.

Not Twitter Poirot.:worry:

Being serious though I think that it's natural to speculate on what happened to her, I honestly don't get some people that I've seen on YouTube in particular who are treating it like it's a three part ITV series though.

It comes as a close family friend of the missing mother-of-two, Tilly Ann,
today urged police to search an abandoned house and surrounding
outbuildings a short distance from the river.
(they havent????)

In an updated Facebook post, she wrote: 'The abandoned house and
outbuildings etc have not yet been searched as it is not currently a crime
investigation!!!!!! (This should have been done straight away!).'

It comes after police last night admitted that Nicola could have left the area
with a third party when she vanished during a walk with her springer spaniel
Willow at around 9.20am on January 27.

While police still maintain that she most likely fell into the river,
superintendent Sally Riley, of Lancashire Police, said it remained a
'possibility' that the 45-year-old left the area by one path not covered by
CCTV cameras - but added that 'every single' suspicion or criminal
suggestion had so far been discounted.

Why are they so hell bent on her having fallen in the river? It's a bit weird. Why wouldn't they search that house??

especially as if she fell in the river she would just climb out as its shallow at the edges and she would have to slip in feet first

thesheriff443 09-02-2023 08:58 AM

We have not heard anything about the Fitbit data

It would show if it stopped registering a heartbeat because she is dead or it was taken off

Not all drownings are like the movie’s you can drown very quickly

It doesn't seem likely at all looking at that bank alright

thesheriff443 09-02-2023 09:02 AM

You can drown in three inches of water

You can but if you drown in the shallow water like that, near that bank it doesn't seem likely your body would be washed out so far that they couldn't find it so quickly after you drowned, like the diver said. Plus you'd either have to be knocked out or being held down to drown in water that shallow

i have watched enough people drown and enough people fall in rivers in my life to know that if she slipped in that river she would stand up and climb out. Plus she didnt as she was not found in that small slow-moving river

If it was that easy people would never drown
What about all those that drown in swimming pools

The police can be a joke but they also can be right

I still say she drowned

Police Now searching the river close to Morcambe bay.

Crimson Dynamo 09-02-2023 10:11 AM

by now if she ever was in the river the body would have bloated up and she would have surfaced

Cherie 09-02-2023 10:15 AM

Yes, Police had to put out a statement this morning.

I mean the Police Lady in Charge
saying, do not speculate?

Once, she said that
more visited that area
Some broke into an empty home to look.

Police not willing to share all the info,
as it can change their investigation

There's a lot of misinformation being posted. I saw someone say that her company was going bust and you can see there's a proposal to strike it off on Companies House. I looked her up on there and it's not true at all

The Police have Left a Void

Yes I agree, they have left an information vacuum there

bots 09-02-2023 11:00 AM

the reason social media have gone ape**** is because the police have not said .... this is what we have done, this is what we have discounted because .... this is what we are currently following up on. All they have said is that she must have fallen in the river. Faith in the police is at an all time low and their communications in this case have been dreadful

Liam- 09-02-2023 11:20 AM

People on social media go ape**** because they think they’re experts on everything, make up their own scenarios in their heads based on nothing and then don’t like it when their baseless conspiracies aren’t taken seriously, or don’t come to fruition based on actual evidence and investigating by the experts, it’s regularly turning cases into public circuses

My (I admit) crackpot theory is apparently more likely than her having fallen in :joker: I don't use twitter so I don't know how common that theory is though.

They now say that she could have gone through the gate and off up the lane

They know she isnt in the river so they must now suspect she was abducted
