Lovely day here today and yesterday it poured down so the earth was just perfect for bulb planting

hopefully in the Spring we will have an array of snowdrops, crocus, daffs, tulips and bluebells if the pesky squirrels leave them in the ground

Beso 13-10-2024 04:03 PM

Played a round of golf. Hit 39 for the front nine, then 43 for the back nine. I should have gone under 80 today, 2 chip ins from inside 20 feet helped.

Cant be bothered to look up my golfing thread, so this will do in here.

Rightly felt like the worst and most selfish person on the face of the planet and confirmed to myself that I am in fact awful. The only thing I have to cling onto now is the hope that I'm not completely irredeemable. And all that before 7.30 in the morning.

crikey, did you kick her out of bed ....or tell her on her way to work...why so early.... anyhow I hope you are both okay, if you were unsure it was for the best.

Thank you.

I'm ready for the TIBB OPEN now.

Benjamin 16-10-2024 05:17 PM

I had a 2 hour meeting right at the end of the work day. Drained the energy out of me.

ThomasC 16-10-2024 07:48 PM

Did a workout then went to meet a lad for sex

Power nap this afternoon.

Headed out to the bakery, chatted to a neighbour and bought some freshly baked bread for my breakfast, going to have a roll now with a coffee.

ThomasC 17-10-2024 08:30 AM

Day off, but have a team meeting later so took a laptop home

I speak English with my partner and baby and then Portuguese with the in-law's, neighbours and everyone else but obviously I spend way more time with my family so I speak English more frequently

….ahhhh, and as little baby grows and through their peers at nursery and school etc, they themselves speak Portuguese more and more often, so they’ll also become your teacher as you are theirs with English…it’s a lovely thing to have multiple language skills, isn’t it…

Oh definitely, I'm really looking forward to it!

Adamw92 17-10-2024 08:36 PM

Work and then I’ve accidentally napped and caught up on some shows

Benjamin 19-10-2024 04:37 PM

Tidied up the garden, laundry, cleaned the house. About to clean the bathroom and put fresh sheets on the bed. Pretty cruisey day.

Kate! 19-10-2024 04:40 PM

Early morning laundry, like Ben...then went to a street market after breakfast. Spent a while on my Tibb BB campaign. Cooked tea, washed up. Now chilling watching Alan Carr, Strictly up next. I miss Big Brother on a Saturday night.

I wish they did the HoH live on a Saturday seeing as the comp takes place today.

Totally agree

Niamh. 19-10-2024 05:21 PM

Had a nice breakfast, went to the dump to get rid of some stuff, went for a hike, went to the pub for a late lunch and a couple of drinks, just home now lit the fire and going to have a nap and then watch a movie with a glass or 3 of wine [emoji485]

Crimson Dynamo 19-10-2024 06:00 PM

worked and did a huge smallest boy CD washing. He is out on the lash so will have to go and get him at the back of 11

:skull:

Beso 19-10-2024 06:29 PM

Watching the football scores for all the early games today. Was going to win 220 pound if all games held, going into extra time. Oxford equalizer against west Brom in the 2nd minute of extra time. Luckily for me, I was watching my cashout at the same time, and took 195 on the 90 minute mark like a true boss.

There was a bake sale around the corner so went and spent a few pounds, went to the garden centre and bought some veg and ordered a homemade Christmas cake as a pressie, this garden centre literally has everything, a little van at the end that sells the most delicious home made food and he does cakes and puddings ...yah went to the butchers, went to Pets at Home and bought Tilly a reflective coat for the upcoming dark evenings, tried it on and it fits perfectly, went to Sainburys, took Tilly for a walk, made dinner, loaded the dishwash, watched a bit of footie, did my BB stuff, I swear Mr C has been sat on his ass all day :oh:

Jessica. 19-10-2024 06:57 PM

Household duties,
Caught up on Taskmaster,
Went out to do the shopping at two different supermarkets - I love the LIDL Plus app, we got free peas from it today

Cherie 19-10-2024 06:58 PM

Oh and we bought a new car this morning but that was at 9am so it seems like a long time ago :fist:

Glenn. 20-10-2024 07:08 PM

Just been to work today. Miserable day

Kate! 20-10-2024 07:13 PM

Went grocery shopping first thing then on to B and Q. Bought a nice plant.

Early lunch, some housework including a spot of ironing. Gave a mini speech in Tibb BB with Benjamin Nicky and Cherie. Currently just finished watching the Strictly Results and now it's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Can't wait for tonight's BB.

Jessica. 20-10-2024 07:17 PM

Up at six, had a busy morning at home, made lunch to bring to the in-law's, went over and stayed all day, came home and ate a couple of chocolate biscuits, put a computer game updating to hopefully play with my partner this evening.

Ooh nice. What car did you buy? I’m going to view a car next weekend. It’s a long old drive to get there tho, it’s 3 hours away.

Kate! 20-10-2024 07:28 PM

Theme song for this thread ....

We had a Hyundai Tuscon but are going for a Hyundai Bayon automatic as my younger son is taking lessons in an automatic and I believe all new cars will be automatic by 2029 so we thought we may as well get in on it, I had a little test drive and it was fine probably wonder why we ever drove a manual in 6 months time

also the Tuscon was incredibly expensive to drive

Jessica. 20-10-2024 07:33 PM

Our car is automatic too, it's brilliant, we got it last year.

Oh nice. Every car I’ve ever owned has been manual and the one I’m going to view is an automatic. It’s gonna take me some getting used to if I buy it.
