He isn't. I have a feeling Saph just dislikes him to cause a bit of friction.

Freddie can be irritating sometimes, but has never done anything to warrant someone "hating" him.

If anything I think Freddie's still himself. I think he just decided to "go for this "new look". We can only see what becomes of it all.
