Ch4HD news is doing 2 Hours tonight

1st Hour 7pm Ch4HD Live
2nd Hour 8PM More4HD Live

arista 15-01-2019 06:27 PM

Result on only amendment

For the amendment: 24
Against the amendment: 600

So that's a resounding defeat for the
bid to say the UK should be able
to unilaterally terminate the backstop.

Thats of no importance

the main vote is due in a hour

arista 15-01-2019 06:42 PM

Votes in favour: 202
Votes against: 432

As expected, Theresa May suffers a heavy defeat.

arista 15-01-2019 06:43 PM

19:42

[May calls Corbyn's bluff
The PM says she needs to "confirm if this government
has the confidence of the House" - and says if Jeremy Corbyn
calls a confidence vote tomorrow, she will make time for that.
If he refuses to, she will "consider" attempts to do so by other opposition parties.]

Withano 15-01-2019 06:44 PM

Lol.

Withano 15-01-2019 06:46 PM

No confidence megalol

Sticks 15-01-2019 06:49 PM

That is confirmed, we are leaving on 29 March with no deal on WTO terms in a Hard Brexit.

Apparently shares in firms supplying razor wire are soaring tonight, all ready to put in place the physical hard border across Northern Ireland

Let us all note that because of the return to the hard border, the Good Friday Agreement has finally collapsed, we expect to bring back internment without trial in the next four months

Well done every one

Yes they demand another vote.

Sticks 15-01-2019 06:57 PM

The SNP are referred to by some in Scotland as Tartan Tories

arista 15-01-2019 07:15 PM

Tomorrow.
Its Labour's Vote to get rid of the PM.

Of Course it will not win
as the DUP and the Conservatives will back the PM

arista 15-01-2019 07:18 PM

[May's deal has been rejected - 432 MPs have voted against
She has to return with plan B by Monday
Jeremy Corbyn has called for a motion of no-confidence
The debate on no-confidence to take place Wednesday all day until 7pm
]

[Normal PMQS tomorrow followed by No Confidence Debate until 7pm]

Alf 15-01-2019 07:24 PM

Nothing's over until the fat lady sings.

The final deal, will be the deal.

We now stand at no deal, the ball is now in the EU court.

Sticks 15-01-2019 07:24 PM

Plan B is Hard Brexit without a deal on WTO terms and a return to a hard border across Northern Ireland
