I'm not sure what Kush and Martin have to do with the Carters.

No lol, what I'm trying to say is it didn't seem necessary in the show with the the whole babies father storyline with Kush and Martin.

Nothing against parents who have more children when they've already got grown up ones.

I'm talking in terms of the show and not in real life.

Because they wanted Mick and Linda to have a baby?

Will. 15-03-2016 07:23 PM

Like I felt the Carters were fine how they were didn't need a shack up, don't want Nancy to go either. I like them how they are.

I still don't understand what you're driving at. Does Linda and Mick having another baby somehow detract from Kush and Martin storyline?

It seemed pointless having 2 of Who's The Father? storyline.

Well Linda's pregnancy added a dilemma to the rape storyline so not really the same story.

They also didn't really run at exactly the same time as Stacey's baby's father only became a question in the last few months. The Ollie story was like a year ago.

Yeah I guess, IDK I just found a lot of there storylines last year pointless and dragging, did you?

This year is a lot better, enjoying it far better.

Yeah, but Linda having a baby wasn't one for me, it didn't really occupy all that much screen time.

He's barely a year old. He's hardly one of the show's front runners. I doubt he was ever meant to shake up the family.

For what it's worth I liked the original Carter set-up too but then if Maddy Hill wants to leave then that's her choice. People come and go. Johnny won't be on-screen until later this year either so it's not like they've been set in stone since day one.

Oh yeah, I found that storyline tedious at certain points but her pregnancy wasn't a reason for that. I just mentioned that because your comment focussed on the fact she had a baby.

Yeah and they added it in near the end which dragged and Linda had already suffered enough without having the worry of possibly having Dean's baby

The storyline ended well though, New Year was fab.

Rob! 15-03-2016 07:46 PM

I've decided I adore Claudette.
There were people talking in the room when I was watching it and when she appeared they all went silent.
Ha impact :flutter:

Marsh. 15-03-2016 07:54 PM

I assume that was Patrick imagining it though, right? Because of his conscience?

Yeah I don't see her walking the streets aimlessly in that dress after suffering a severe head injury and being admitted

Oh good. Some people on DS are discussing it like she has now returned to exact her vengeance. :omgno:

Will. 15-03-2016 08:04 PM

Here for her killing Patrick on Good Friday next week.
