Oh yeah, Santer used to provide us with hour-long episodes if something juicy was happening. Loved that.

They must have wanted to avoid another Vicky fiasco when she suddenly went from stage school "Annie" accent to cockney in about 3 episodes.

Why they're bothering to try and do this type of storyline when he's not coming back to the show beyond a couple of cameos is baffling.

Why would Sharon keep that letter in her handbag of all places?

Surely once she'd decided with Michelle that it was worth keeping a secret she'd have given it back to Michelle or binned it.

Also, Michelle doesn't want Mark Jr to know Grant's his father so she decides to tell Peggy when she's dying and thinking she wasn't going to make a fuss about it?

Grant kept in touch with the family in all his time away but was never aware of Ian and Jane's MANY tragedies in that time? :laugh:
