Aww. I mean she was no replacement for Pam but I quite liked Joyce. It’ll probably be the best move for Ted as a character though.

Joyce could have been a well loved character.

People think just because Ted and Joyce are old and joined after Les and Pam left that they are fake versions of them

It wasn't just that they came in after. The same producer axed Les and Pam and then brought those in so they were effectively replacements.

There's been rumours Ted and Joyce didn't get on either which led to the actress quitting. So they haven't appeared on screen together very much.

And they are correct.

SOC really was bloody clueless.

All producers have their positives and negatives but he really didn't know how to pace plots out.

I haven't posted in here in ages but I loved last weeks ep where Kat came back and Big Mo was in the coffin etc, I howled

Im glad they're back and bringing a fun sassy feel to the show again, I was sick of the same old boring **** with Mick and Linda and that dreary Aidan storyline

So Ted and Joyce are older like Pam and Les so they are fakes. Pretty sure anyone who thinks this is delusional. Are they not allowed to have other older characters? Get a grip you lot
