Yes Man - the usual Jim Carey film, funny though

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Yep, it's probably Oliver Stone's best film in quite along time - since Any Given Sunday in my eyes- with slick production and generally good performances from all involved, but I still feel that Stone's righteous indignation and capacity to forcefully highlight his own moral outrage on the silver screen has diminished substantially, with the end result being a far more diluted Stone experience than his earlier works.

Maybe he's just getting old and more laid back, but I really expected more bite and vitriolic criticism in this sequel. Still very watchable though and nice to see Douglas back on form... for maybe the last time judging from what he's said recently.

Exam - It was meant to be a horror but it wasn't scary at all

I have Tron on at the moment. Have never seen it, don't know much about it, and definitely didn't know Jeff Bridges was in it.

I used to love that film, I watched it recently and i was like '...'. Time has treated it like a drunk girl at a frat party. Tron Legacy has potential though although it could go either way.

I watched 'Machete' last night. All star cast with Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro, Cheech Marin, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Don Johnson, Daryl Sabara and Lindsay Lohan. It was really good. Very gorey, very satirical, very tongue-in-cheek. Purposely O.T.T.

The Social Network.

Very good, although confusing as to how Zuckerberg would allow it to be made. Very damning of him.

Smithy 30-10-2010 06:31 PM

Toy story 3 (again :L)

Niamh. 30-10-2010 06:33 PM

The Longest Yard - it was pretty good, I love Adam Sandler:hugesmile:

Never really got started.

Paranormal Activity 2 - fckinglol.

Niamh. 04-11-2010 09:35 AM

Paranormal activity - it was ok, a bit boring and really not that scary

I've just finished watching this and I wondered that as well. Apparently it's not a very fair reflection of him either, and a lot of it is essentially fiction.

It was a great film though - 9/10

MissKittyFantastico 06-11-2010 02:35 AM

Public Enemies, can't believe it's taken me this long to see it, as usually I'm straight onto any film with Johnny in like a fly on **** but anyway I liked it, wasn't sure if I would but I thought he played the part of Dillinger really well, suave, charming, loyal to his friends, but with a chilling ruthless streak. Not a classic gangster film and I'd have liked a bit more character development in places but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Shaun 06-11-2010 02:38 AM

k so streaming has become my life.

Red - AMAZING - 9/10
Machete - pretty amazing - 8/10
The Other Guys - not even slightly amazing - 5/10
Adventureland - ...i'm bored of saying amazing. Quite good. - 7/10

DrunkerThanMoses 06-11-2010 11:01 AM

Dead snow - Who doesent like zombie nazis coming after you :) Good movie with some good moments. Wasent scary, but at least the writers had a few twists to the story, example the characters you think will surivie die :)
