Never thought I'd laugh so much at a forum. Have done in the past but I literally have sore eyes tonight

Being in my local pub and knowing I'm the last generation to enjoy the pub culture for what it is

Makes me more sad. Seeing it slip away and pubs closing everywhere :(

I know eh, mine is a pretty traditional one. And when the old lot die off it might suffer. So I try to do what I can. But say 20 years, pubs might be almost gone D:

Every one around where I live has closed. Theres one over yonder and loads in town which isn't too far but it's just easier to stay in now :(

The fact I'm drunk as **** and gonna tuck into a nice pizza meal

Going to the pub for a quiet one and ending up staying all night and having a great lock in

Last lock in I ended up in I ended up behind the bar pulling everyone drinks. Trouble is I smashed more glasses than any pub usually loses in a week :blush:

I've tried that, didn't take long for the barman to be annoyed at me :joker:

I was told to sit down and was then sandwiched in so I couldn't get up again and try to pull more :joker:

All these thinks make me happy :)

Dogs make me happy. They are always - always - pleased to see you.

They scare me, I was bitten on my ankle as a kid doing a paper round then a few years later this Afghan was sat on the passenger seat of a transit van and it bit me on the head as I stood by the door.

Must be horrible to be scared of dogs, I do understand though, that being bitten like that would colour your judgement!

Yep, it's pretty awful at times. What makes things worse is they sense fear and if a dog gets too close to me I find myself getting very anxious. Even more-so when they try to sniff me out.

Cats though.... I love them and they can make me smile all day long. :hugesmile:

When I get invited to something like a night out rather than me having to ask whether I can come.

giving the homeless/or people sitting on the side of the street a bit of money. even if i'm always told that those people have a limo waiting on the corner. I don't care. I give. I can't pass one without giving. seeing them give me a smile even if i just give them 50p makes me smile and sad at the same time :(
