There have been about 3 City players now that have kicked out off the ball and nothing has happened to them though from the FA and Media outcry. I just find it funny considering City fans seem so paranoid about how the media hates them

I'm sure he had no issue with Torres poking somebodies eyes out, he's boring now.

God I'd love it if Yaya scored the winner on Saturday. It's screaming out for it after his comments, he didn't need to get involved.

Black Dagger 11-02-2014 11:26 AM

The media don't hate us, the daily mail is usually negative and gets all the ABC's out in force, but I don't give a ****, but they don't LOVE us. They're hyping us up for a quaudruple that nobody in the squad has said will be done, just to say "oops gotta spend more money, the dirty mercs didn't work hard enough lol lol"

GiRTh 11-02-2014 11:35 AM

Jose is right again. He's starting the mind games already, got to love him.

Didn't Kompany say it's only a matter of time and Pellegrini say he's aiming for it(fair enough..why not aim for it)?

Genuine question...I just went off the headline to the articles

How anyone could love Jose is beyond me. He's a horrible twat. You only have to listen to his press conferences and how the media laugh at his s**t jokes, to know this guy is going to be fawned over again. In Italy and Spain they treated him with the contempt he deserves, but over here we make out he's some master.

I think that was just after "Here's to you Vincent Kompany" chant that you lot started did so he played up on it  the dates look similar anyway! but idfk. I know the fans don't seem to be hyping it up, I'll settle for the league cup in a few weeks and see what happens from there. I dread Barcelona if Fernandinho and Aguero don't get their arses back.

Shaun 11-02-2014 12:40 PM

Cardiff v Aston Villa
Hull v Southampton
West Ham v Norwich
West Brom v Chelsea

yep then

MTVN 11-02-2014 12:47 PM

All very important games

Brother Leon 11-02-2014 01:08 PM

Sky Sports 2 for the good ol' days

I love him. I'd love him to manage the club I support too.

In an era of dour uninspiring mangers like David Moyes he's a breath of fresh air. He's handsome, quotable and charismatic. What's not to love.

Shaun 11-02-2014 01:22 PM

meh, he's a bellend. Bit bored of the "lol what a legend" attitude around football.

King Gizzard 11-02-2014 01:30 PM

his 'mind games' are way overrated. He could say ''hello'' to a journalist and that journalist would probably think it's a mind game

It's the excuse they give whenever he's a bit of a dick about something 'oh it's a mind game'

Can't fault his tactical/general managerial prowess though

GiRTh 11-02-2014 01:35 PM

He might not be the nicest person you'll meet but one way or another he gets an edge on the opposition. That gets full respect from me.

In this country every one wants to be so nice. let's shake hands at the end of the game bollox. He says ****** that I want to win and in less than ten years he's already one of the greatest managers ever. You have to respect that even if you don't like it. This is why he got on so well with Ferguson, the two of them are very similar.

Brother Leon 11-02-2014 01:37 PM

He's an arrogant twat and the media love in is cringe, but he backs it all up in fairness.

I don't doubt he's inspiring to play for, or handsome. But charismatic? If dad jokes are now the new standard for charisma, then I agree - he's up there with the best of them, but otherwise he's a myopic hypocrite with a stunning lack of self awareness.

I think you say you'd love him to manage your club, because he guarantees success - which he does. Arsenal are better than Jose, however - they may not win as much, but it's better to have standards at your club than a ****** like him. Proper clubs should never hire anyone like him.

I think people forget what a horrible bastard he is. Things are going well for him at the moment, and probably for the next year or 2, but people forget just how much he detracts from the football in this country. Don't be fooled by the media.

GiRTh 11-02-2014 01:41 PM

If he back up what he says then he's confident not arrogant.

I absolutely disagree with every word of this. I want results and I don't think anyone is above getting a little dirty in order to get them.

GiRTh 11-02-2014 01:46 PM

Also, I was an Arsenal fan in the days of 1-0 to the Arsenal, Perry Groves and long ball football. We got results, we won things and I didn't care that no one liked us. Don't give me pretty football with no end result. I don't want it.

King Gizzard 11-02-2014 01:49 PM

Always been more of a performance over results kind of guy

Especially when good performance nearly always brings results

GiRTh 11-02-2014 01:53 PM

Not me. My fave game is a 1-0 away win, dodgy penalty in the final ten minutes. That is the kind of game that gets me out of my seat. Thats the kind of game the Mourinho specialises in.
