Sliding Doors, love that film

MissKittyFantastico 21-12-2010 11:37 AM

Inception - film of the year imo.

It's Complicated - nice little film, easy to watch and Meryl Streep is brilliant in it as usual

Niamh. 21-12-2010 11:43 AM

Oh you watched it Michelle, what did you think about it then?

I loved it :nono: And it's one of those ending where you decide what happens, wasn't totally clear.

Oh sorry Scrooge. I thought you were saying you were bored by it.

Spoiler:

The ending seems to have been cleared up by it's author on the web but I can see how others would like to believe the other ending which would've been better.

There is a similar twist in an old Hammer Horror movie. Not as clever as this one but along the same lines. That's why as soon as I seen the trailer I thought who the patient was.

Ahhh right, never looked up the meaning of the ending or anything of the web, thought I'd just leave it to my own imagination kinda thing. And never saw the trailer either, caught it by chance in some little cinema in Wales. Entertained me at the time as I was in some tiny town with a very long name lol

Through shady methods I was able to see Black Swan. For me this is the best of 2010. Really oscar worthy and should get the best director and best actress award. It is outstanding what Darren Aranofsky has done here, simply outstanding.

Up until now I was going with Inception but all that has changed. This truly is a work of art.

I watched Valkyrie on DVD. I really liked it, quite tense and gripping, and it looked like good period detail.

I Love You, Man.

Better than I expected, 8/10

I think Valkyrie could have and should have been a great film, but I found it very dull at parts. Not a bad film, but I just think with the story and the cast it should have been tremendous!

I watched it the other day too, thought it was epic when I saw it at the cinema, not as keen second time round
