That's what I was thinking, IMO he should have been chosen over Kirkland, both good keepers but for me Green has been brilliant for West Ham and fully deserves a chance.

As for the Beckham situation, I think he should have been chosen, it's a friendly and would have been nice for him to get his 100th cap infront of a packed wembley stadium.

I'd have Green as first choice keeper, he's been in great form and he's a the right age to be number one for quite a few years.
