Fabregas want's Alonso in the Arsenal team. Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas says Arsene Wenger should consider a summer move for Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso. Alonso has enjoyed a great season at Anfield but speculation has suggested he could leave Merseyside during the transfer window. Rafa Benitez dismissed such reports but Fabregas admits he would love his Spanish compatriot join him at the Emirates Stadium next season. "We need someone in the middle to make competition and make a difference, plus give us a new dimension," he said. "I think that is all we need. The rest is perfect. "Xabi would be great. He's experienced and can score goals. I'm sure the boss is aware of that fact." |

Arsenal and Inter both looking to buy Yaya Toure from Barca for 14m. |
If Alonso does leave it won't be to another club in the top 4, Rafa won't want to sell our best players to our rivals.

Tottenham:
Tottenham face an exodus of stars this summer as the club has put up a number of names for sale. Didier Zokora, Gareth Bale, David Bentley, Heurelho Gomes, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Tom Huddlestone, Darren Bent and even Luka Modric are likely to be put for sale. Zokora has been linked with a return to France. Oh no. |
We will take Pavlyuchenko, Bale and Bent. Modric too if he is under 10 mil.

Transfer window budget: Cup success and European football has probably allowed Moyes around £25m to play with.
Areas to strengthen: Another striker to replace Jo and possibly cover for the defence. Who they should sign: Celtic's Scott Brown would complete a formidable midfield triangle with Arteta and Cahill. Ryan Babel would add pace and Premier League knowhow to the David Moyes team. Who they'll end up signing: An unknown European and Championship striker. Both will turn out to be brilliant. Jerome Beckford from Leeds could also be on Moyes' radar. On the way out: Jo, obviously, and Louis Saha could be shipped out if his injury nightmares continue. |
