Where’s Swan ?

That last ditch tackle on Latte Lath was suspect !!!

Disasi lunged in and landed on the poor guy’s ankle .. he hobbled out of the game ..

Then a handball by Fernandes in the Chelsea penalty box !!

Then another last ditch tackle by Gusto that looked like a penalty .. nowhere near the ball

Just lucky for Chelsea that there’s no VAR !

Chelsea should be fine now

Mudryk and Broja now on .. I would have started them both tbh

Nice to see Mudryk looking more and more confident.

I am so pleased that Arsenal didn’t get Caicedo .. he has to be considered a flop thus far ..

He was to blame for their goal tonight as well

Putting bias aside *cough*
Spoiler:

- how poor have Chelsea been tonight? Im not watching because most links were awful, and i just cba with it.

Swan 09-01-2024 08:41 PM

Tbf, Chelsea were only gonna get thrashed in final by Liverpool if they got there anyway, this means nothing really.

Is it 2 legs?

Regardless, even if we made it to the final Liverpool would have a comfortable win.

We've got 873 players injured, and we already have the smallest squad in the whole premier league. 14 players fewer than yernited who have the largest squad with 36.

Owners who won't spend a penny to help a team at the top of the league. Exactly the same thing that happened the year after we won our asterisk title :hehe: By the end of Jan we'll be in a battle for top 4 as City stroll to another title.

All that being said, Chelsea aren't anywhere near the level of Liverpool this season. And, if Chelsea do get the final, it's in February right? You'll have Salah back by then. Look at Saturday, Arsenal all over Liverpool, but they couldn't finish (Chelsea have that problem most weekends), then Liverpool punish them.

Our 2nd best player is a 96 year old centre back, and we've spent £300 Trillion, that should tell you all you need to know.

England forward Cole Palmer, 21, says he wanted to move on loan from Manchester City last summer but was told he could "either stay or you get sold" before he joined Chelsea.

I think you are the most consistent team in the league. Its a testament to Klopp that you are back after last season. I'd be optimistic if Arsenal were in your position. If it wasn't for the Spurs robbery, you'd be unbeaten in the league

Our manager on the other hand, sends Keiren Tierney out on loan and now claims he needs full backs. Buys a goalkeeper and misfit forward who were both not needed pushing us close to FFP breaking point and now he reckons he needs more midfielders. For the 90 odd million spunked on King Kai and Raya he could have signed Maddison and Kudus and Tielemans and Ward-Prowse.

Arteta is not looking like the football clever clogs he thinks he is.

bots 09-01-2024 11:19 PM

i think bringing in Raya was the single most stupid thing Arteta has done. He has created hesitancy in defence when everything was nicely settled

Agreed

Apparently Arteta wanted Raya years ago plus they’re both Spanish

West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta could be sidelined for "at least two months" with a calf injury.

The Brazilian suffered a recurrence of the issue in Sunday's FA Cup draw with Bristol City, having initially been injured against Arsenal at the end of December.

Can’t recall ever seeing so many injuries in a season

Krap

The ever thuggish João Palhinha plays against Liverpool tonight

Sadly Endo isn’t playing so there’s no one to stand up to his strong arm, roughhouse tactics
