Walker is an AMAZING character however will never come close to Brendan. Walker would not be half the character without the EPIC relationship with Brendan however Brendan is AMAZING WITH EVERYONE and even by himself with his one liners is amazing

I like her. Ruby is a great character. Lots of potential to be a proper villain! :hugesmile:

I really like Dr.Browining & Mercedes together lol. They are almost like soulmates, as they are both very ruthless & kind of evil :laugh:

Doug arrives back next week and comes face-to-face with Ste for the first time since their split in December.

Ste reunited with Brendan Brady after his relationship with Doug came to an end last month, and it seems that the trio's love triangle is now finally over.

Brennan told Inside Soap: "Doug's primary reason for returning is the business that he runs with Ste. There were a lot of dark moments for Doug last year, but the one positive thing to come out of it all was the success of the deli.

"So while Doug left a lot of bad things behind, he turned his back on some good things too."

On Ste's relationship with Brendan, the actor continued: "Whatever his opinion on the situation, Doug decides to keep a respectful distance from it all. He's certainly not pining after Ste any more, and makes it clear that he's only interested in sorting out the business.

"The time Doug spent in the States has done him the world of good. He left Hollyoaks at his lowest point, but Doug's much more level-headed when he returns - and 100% more comfortable being himself."

Brennan explained that while there is still "part of him that still loves Ste", Doug is no longer trying to hold on to their romantic connection.

He added: "Over the next few weeks, the audience will see Doug re-establish old connections and also make some new ones. A few new faces have turned up in the village while Doug's been away, and one or two of them might pique his interest."

So pleased that the press rumours about Jennifer Metcalfe leaving Hollyoaks turned out to be false:D.

Jennifer is back filming Hollyoaks in mid February, she is currently on holiday now after recently finishing panto and is dating Geordie Shore's Greg Lake:o.

Jimmy McKenna and Helen Pearson are fantastic in this Esther storyline.

Frankie and Jack may be frustrating atm with their approach to what is going on with Esther, but the full reality will be when they find out about the bullying!
