I was gonna say, it's amazing how forgettable he is considering how much attention he got at the beginning. Looking at that picture of the cast I had to try and remember who he was at first

Jason, Chelsea, Hughie, Andy, Jackson :clap1:

Greg! 27-03-2017 09:20 PM

Andy was the worst Housemate of BB17 by far. And his boyfriend was the worst human to ever set foot in that house. (Apart from Jimmy Savile lmao!)

Jamie89 27-03-2017 09:25 PM

Andy was the best male imo, and Marco wasn't actually that bad in retrospect (in fact I'd go as far as to say he was a tad iconic :worry: )

Jamie89 27-03-2017 09:26 PM

Me from a few months ago (ie. the beginning weeks of BB17) would be deeply ashamed at those opinions.

Jason. 27-03-2017 09:31 PM

Hughie was and still is overrated.

I agree about Marco lol. I think a lot of people, including myself, jumped on the hate bandwagon. He was a dickhead, yes, and not a very nice person, but it would have been interesting to see how he would be in the house after a couple of weeks - if he would calm down or not. He was probably the perfect person to break the all-female 1st evictee thing though, as if a bore like Alex or Sam had gone it wouldn't have been as effective.

Jason. 27-03-2017 09:45 PM

Marco was a sleazy attention seeker if anything. I'm really glad he was evicted first because I do genuinely think he would've been a Marc/Bear type character had he stayed in any longer.

I agree + his eviction saved Laura from herself and gave her a decent storyline.
Had he stayed, BB17 would have been tragically sleazy like CBB18. :yuk:

Yeah I agree that Marco left at the right time, I don't think he should have stayed any longer, but I think that him being there for just a short time improves him when thinking about his stint, because he was awful and messy etc but he wasn't there long enough to ruin the series, like at the time I think a lot of people thought he would ruin it and that's where a lot of the hate came from, but I think he can be appreciated more in retrospect because of his early exit (not necessarily as a person but as a housemate and his role in the series), if that makes sense? Like he did have a positive impact in a lot of ways, his impact on Laura's arc, him breaking the female first evictee curse (and acting as a shield to Emma in that first eviction <3)... and as much as he was sleazy and attention seeking, I don't think he was actually a bad person from what I remember, like he wasn't cruel or nasty to people and he generally seemed fairly nice/friendly underneath all of his other faults.

Cal. 28-03-2017 09:26 AM

Marco and Laura were the most hated on the forum in Week 1 how strange.

He definitely went at the right time and I'm so glad.

Denver 28-03-2017 09:39 AM

I fancied Marco tbh

I wouldn't say he's a bad person, but every now and then an article pops with him doing drugs or having sex on Snapchat. He's really disturbing and disgusting. He created some action, but not of the kind that i find appealing, not back then and not retrospectively.

But we still love you, Jamie

Natalie for me stole the show and should have got a pass to the final

I thought this too until his scathing tirade towards Georgina on social media after he left the house. I mean I don't like Georgina at all but telling her to "do the world a favour and kill herself" just lowered my opinion of him even more.

Jake. 28-03-2017 05:03 PM

Yeah i was gonna mention his comments towards Georgina
