Anyone else feel sorry for Lloyd?

Okay so he's not the best singer in the competition, but he's not awful either.

But does anyone else just feel sorry for him?

I know it's been mentioned but on Xtra Factor last night a woman phoned in and asked him if he thought that he was getting through on just his looks, and he admitted that he thought he was and that 'everyone else is so talented' or something along those lines.

He's obviously there because he just wants to sing, and as much as he must love the female attention, you can tell he'd rather people be voting for him on his voice and not his looks. I think he also felt like he shouldn't be there last night as well.

So yeah, he seems like a really nice lad and I do feel bad for him.

Niamh. 02-11-2009 03:51 PM

Yeah, I felt a bit sorry for him when that lady rang in and fair ****s to him for being so honest with his answer!!

\PJ/ 02-11-2009 03:52 PM

Nope.

Patrick 02-11-2009 03:53 PM

Yeah I do :(

Stephanie 02-11-2009 03:54 PM

i did, he looked really sad

CiaraD 02-11-2009 03:58 PM

I felt awful for him when that woman said that to him :(

Chels 02-11-2009 04:02 PM

that was harsh, it may be true but was there need to say it on national tv and make him feel worse? :/
silly moo.

Feel bad for him, he wouldnt get this much hate if he didnt go out to john and edward.

But because lloyd was the other in the bottom 2, people are blaming him for rachels departure when really it was the public.

No, it's Simon I blame not Lloyd, he was supposed to pick the best performance and he didn't

I think Simon wanted to give him a fair shot because his voice was *******ed.
He might have done a better performance than Rachel if his voice was okay, you never know.

Blaming simons just the same.
He put it to deadlock and rightfully so why shouldnt he do that?

Lloyd was ill, and he obviously didnt think it was fair to send him home whilst in that position.

The public didnt vote for rachel as much as they did for lloyd she should have gone and rightfully did.

Well, when his voice has been fine, he never sang better than Rachel anyway. tbh I thought he sounded better when he had a sore throat than he normally does!

What was the point in making them sing so? Rachel did an outstanding performance for absolutely nothing. If they want the public to decide why not just do away with that part altogether so??

MrGaryy 02-11-2009 04:19 PM

He feels like he shouldn't be there - because he quite clearly should not. He knows he doesn't deserve to be there over others, he knows he isn't getting votes on his vocal ability and so does everyone else.

I dont think they should, i think it should go straght to public vote.
People dont vote for their favourites and they will leave..

That said i think you can give an exception if someone cant even barely talk, you know they arent going to be their best and can deliver much better performances.

Stacey. 02-11-2009 04:23 PM

i do... hes a lovelyy boy,, amazing! xx

Maybe If they are normally much better but he isn't, Rachel out song him in the sing off and she has out song him every other week.

I think If the judges are going to change the rules about the sing off everytime it suits them, then they should just let the public decide completely

Dom:) 02-11-2009 04:57 PM

Yeah I did, especially when he was in the sing off and his voice really messed up at one point and he apologised and almost didn't finish the song.
Poor guy:(
