In your view, how should the series have played out?
 

For me, it should have gone something like this:

Week 1 - John & Edward out
Week 2 - Rikki out
Week 3 - Lloyd out
Week 4 - Kandy Rain out
Week 5 - Danyl out
Week 6 - Jamie out
Week 7 - Stacey out
Week 8 - Joe out
Week 9 - Lucie out
Week 10 - Rachel 3rd, Olly 2nd, Miss Frank 1st


This year's been messed up. Simon, Cheryl and Louis neglected two of their acts, and IMO Simon and Louis were/are backing the wrong horses. Simon blatantly favours Danyl over Olly (and Jamie), Louis with J&E (over Miss Frank and Kandy Rain) and Cheryl blatantly preferred Joe to Lloyd and Rikki. We've had standing ovations and ridiculous praise for mediocre performances, we've had ridiculous criticisms made of artists for things other than their performance (Kandy Rain for their appearance, Danyl for being 'cocky' or whatever, Lucie for 'singing like an actress') and now we have Joe as the fore runner to win the competition, because three of the judges were too wrapped up in trying to play games to do their job - I don't care what the ratings say, this series is possibly the worst we've had.

I'm saying this now, had Louis not have gotten the groups, Kandy Rain would have stayed so much longer, the same with Miss Frank. Girl groups don't do well on X Factor BECAUSE of Louis Walsh (or bad performances, neither of which applies to KR and MF imo).

Final should have been Lucie, Miss Frank and Joe.

And Jedward wouldnt of been there, it would of been better if someone else had them

We have had 3 other girl bands when Louis hasn't had the groups, Simon had them both years.

Addictive Ladies or whatever they were called were shite

The Conway Sisters were crap and were in the bottom 2 every week

Hope were far more likable than Kandy Rain and they were in the bottom 2 every week as well

Its just girl bands on the show, nothing to do with Louis. No matter who got them, they would have been out in week 1.

If having Simon can't get some girl bands past week 3 without being in the bottom 2 then what hope does any other judge have?

The Conway Sisters and Hope still got far, and every week's a bit of an exaggeration :tongue:. Hope finished 5th, and that was off the back of several crap performances. Miss Frank and Kandy Rain could have been very good.

Because both groups were crap, like you said. Hope had some momentum as well, but on the weeks they got put in the bottom two, they had crap performances. Kandy Rains performance was better than say Hope's Lady Marmalade yet they were in the bottom two because of the styling and the fact that Louis cant get song choices right.

Miss Frank and Kandy Rain had potential to be amazing, and had Cheryl or Dannii mentored them, we wouldnt havehad so strange song choices.

Bearing in mind that Kandy Rain actually received a standing ovation in their audition and hailed as the best girl group, and even Bad Lashes from last year recently done some sessions with DS, and their performances were epic.

Louis just cant manage girls.

Yep. I swear he just puts them through as fodder so he can focus solely on a boyband; last year it was JLS, this year it was John & Edward. He should not be given the groups.

But had it been purely down to the public vote neither would have gone as far as they did

Hope were also hailed as the best girl band but with everything in the papers etc they didn't stand a chance no matter who was behind them (so to speak :joker:)

Last year I've forgot who was who but both Bad Lashes and Girl band shouldn't have got through. The ones out in week 1 were the better of the 2 but last year was such a strong year they wouldn't have gone far anyway.

Maybe not, but I don't think the voting details were ever released for those series, were they? We know that Hope got more than Beverley in the top 6, although in previous weeks we don't know.
