Ellie Goulding is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, and rose to fame by topping the BBC Sound of 2010 and by winning the Critics Choice Award at the 2010 BRIT Awards.


Ellie is signed with Polydor Records and her debut album is titled 'Lights', with the lead single being 'Starry Eyed' after the releasure of 'Under The Sheets'.

Under The Sheets was released as the first single from Lights on the 15th November 2009 and peaked at #53 on the UK Singles Chart.

Starry Eyed was released as the lead/second single from Lights on the 22nd February 2010 and charted at #4 which was its highest placement for 2 weeks.

Your Song, a cover of Elton John, was Ellie's first single off the re-release of Lights, Bright Lights. It reached #2 in its third week, where it stayed for 3 weeks. Becoming her most successful single thus far.
