Lili: GARY MARISSA CHRISTINA COOPER GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!

Gary grimaced, her head was still pounding from the night before and she could not handle her mother when she was destroying the decibel scale. She put on a dressing gown and walked downstairs. She walked into the kitchen to see her mother, Lili with her arms crossed looking stern. She stood next to Marissa's now-open bag and in that instant Gary knew why Lili was so mad. Lili pulled out a vodka bottle from the bag.

Lili: WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! (tyra/)
Gary: It's Vodka mother.
Lili: I was being rhetorical! Look it up! You know the rules in this house Gary! No spirits before Noon! We're strictly a Champagne family!

With that Lili's stern face softened as she pulled out a bottle of Champagne and poured them both a glass with their breakfast. Lili was not a normal mother and she was glad of it, because of her easy going nature they had a great relationship. Lili was incredibly proud of her daughter, she had spent years teaching Gary the art of ferocity and Gary was a natural at it. They ate their breakfast and Gary went upstairs to get changed for school, Lili watched her walk up the stairs until she was out of earshot and quickly rang a number on her phone.

Lili: She's leaving for school soon, get ready because I really need you.

Gary wandered back into the kitchen a few minutes later to grab her bag and say goodbye to Lili.

Lili: Bye dear and remember if a stranger offers you a ride only go with him if he's cute, rich and hung!

They cackled at Lili's old line as Gary left for school. Lili again watched her walk away before returning to her phone.

Lili: She's gone, get here as quickly as you can because we haven't got much time, you've got Double Maths in an hour.

Shaun and Jen were waiting on the steps of Tibb County High waiting for their friends. They always sat in this spot as it offered them a prime view of the football team during morning practice. Shaun was staring at Andy, he was the captain of the football team and the object of her affections. Jen however was not, she only had eyes for one boy and he was approaching them.

LemonJam: Hey, I take it nobody's here yet then.

Jen shook her head shyly and smiled as he sat next to her. She was deeply in love with him and had been for years but he never saw it, He saw her as a friend. There was an awkward silence between them as Shaun listened to her ipod.

Shaun: Ke$ha? Nyet! ****!
Jen: What?

Shaun had slipped up, She panicked for a moment.

Shaun: Ooooh Bob Dylan!
Jen: Qt.

They shared the earphones leaving Lemonjam alone. He looked around and spotted Dezzy rushing around, Dezzy was the Editor of the school newspaper.

Lemonjam: Hey what's up?
Dezzy: I'm looking for Patrick, He was doing a piece on....N-Dubz (He grimaced at the mention of them) and the deadline's soon and I can't find him anywhere.
Lemonjam: I think I saw him in the courtyard earlier.
Dezzy: Thanks man.

Dezzy sped off towards the courtyard. He was no fan of Patrick and they rarely saw eye to eye but he needed more reporters and he had no choice but to let him take part when Patrick applied. He was a quiet individual and was eternally creepy, he unnerved Dezzy. He liked his privacy and Dezzy had no problem with that usually but it was a pain in times like this when Dezzy needed to find him. The Courtyard was almost abandoned as usual save for Patrick who strangely had a jar of Butterflies with him. He was mumbling something but Dezzy was too far away to hear anything so he crept closer and realised what Patrick was doing. He was grabbing the butterflies from the jar and ripping their wings off.

Patrick: Catch 'em Kill 'em.......

Dezzy backed away before this scene became a bad Amityville parody.

Patrick:....Dezzy?
Dezzy froze and span around awkwardly.
Dezzy: Hey Patrick!
He said it a little to enthusiastically.
Patrick: How long have you been standing there?
He said it with a dark edge.
Dezzy: Not long at all, if you can get that article to me before the end of the first period that'd be great!
He smiled a fake smile before hurrying off, That was one of the creepiest things he had ever seen and that included Tom Shattock's Facebook page.

Stu's class was about to begin, he was a Biology teacher that specialised in Botany. The bell rang and LemonJam entered the room pushing the wheelchair-bound Zee. He smiled weakly at them and the rest of the class as they piled in. He looked out into the Corridor and saw Wombai the Politics Teacher, She gave him a look of pure hatred before walking on. He looked down at his lesson plan and felt the immense guilt once again.

Apart from the courtyard encounter, the day had passed with little else happening but Dezzy was glad to be on the way home. His mind had been replaying that scene with Patrick all day, it had creeped him out immensely but the conversation afterwards scared him. What was wrong with Patrick? He pulled into his drive and parked his car, he grabbed the house keys and proceeded to his front door. As he stepped onto his front door step he felt something crunch beneath him. He looked down to see that someone had left a pile of dead Butterflies on his step.
