Agreed - some act as if you owe them your time and money! If you say you can't stop you are in a hurry - if looks could kill!

I tell them I never give my details to strangers. As for cash then I'll approach the charities I want. If they chase me down the street they're more likely to get a rude remark

Down town we have a few street fundraisers every so often, Luckily they never ask me for any money as I am young.

Some of the birds are tidy though and their nipples show cause of the tight charity tops they have on.

I initially thought it was about people downing pints in one in pubs. You cant ban them. Thats one of my favourite pastimes that is and the source of many a cheap night in one of the local hostelries.

Charity collectors, nah they are great fun, if you have the time ask them for their identity cards, scrutinise it for a minute or so, then ask for their licence, most councils require one, then ask them about the charity itself, what it does, who are its patrons, does it mostly do UK based work or only overseas.

Engage them in a good discussion about charity works etc for at least ten minutes, if you can spare the time, then slowly go through each of your pockets except the one that you have your cash/wallet in, shrug, give a pleasant smile and say "sorry no change" and walk off proud in the knowledge that you stopped them annoying other people.
