I heard some live recordings a while back, and thought that she was very good indeed. There was a rare splash of grit and passion in her vocal delivery, and her songwriting ability is admirable, too. I was a little surprised to hear the album though, as it seems that they've tried to make her sound more pop. The singles so far have been the album's weakest tracks, though.

Hmm, I've never seen or heard her live, but the singles grate on my nerves. The black horse represents 'evil'? WTF?

as for her career point of view, i dont like her music much but however, she writes her own music and seems down to earth so atleast shes got her head screwed on compared to alot of other artists :thumbs:

I can't decide if I like her or not. I got her CD the other day. I will comment once I give it a good listen.

Ah, he is one of the more "mainstream" of my choices though. I have a tendency to fancy folk that nobody else likes.
