are you pulling my clegg ?
did anyone watch the debate last night ? in my eyes the clegg came out as the winner and the joe just hopes everyone remembers this come may the 6 and we whipe the floor with the corupt labour and conserative lot and show them.
are you pulling my clegg with the political system melting, people have show there disgust, its time for a change, that's why we have to trust. liberal democrats done well, a knight in shinning armour, i am so sick of conservatives and labour, what's happening is calmer. david was nervous, his performance was a sham, even if gordon spoke sense, both of them, nick did slam. 1 down and 2 to go, the british public must remember and judge, all my life have had conservatives and labour, that's why i am voting liberal because these 2 i be-grudge. |
Easy for Clegg.
But there is a Major Problem he can not be PM. Also the way ITV jumped fast and not letting each get a fair Reply - to each other so it did not work well. 90mins and it was still rushed I am hoping Next Thursday at 8PM on Sky News (Online free to View) it will improve. |
They only had 1 minute to talk. Which was little.

Yes The Format failed if it was just 2 people then OK. |
It is just an acting competition - who wins the oscar for best performance!

Clegg had substance and backed up what he said with examples of how he planned to implement his policies...not just waffle. Loved his questioning of trident missile programme and Camerons tax breaks for the wealthy, shame he got no answers!
|
clegg had this one easy as cam and blair were at each other. next time they will bin him.
he was good at using the names of the public however. |

Hi Joe
I thought; Brown looked so depressed. Cameron,,,, I would like to support him regardless. (but I hoped he did not say things he could not deliver.) Clegg,,, it was easy for him to say all those but if we knew more of his party's policies, specially economic, I would not think his party was the one to be considered seriously. Overall that was too staged not natural and rush rush. |

Really? Normally I am forgetting that he is Scot. By the way, I have been wondering you are very quiet recently. Are you all right, LT? |

Clegg is as good an actor as Tony Bliar.
The British public are so gullible. |

Did you see the Arista's thread today? Liv-Dem became 2nd after the debate! Being OAP myself, Clegg's policies are very attractive for me but still I am not sure about them. But good luck to them. I might have said before at another thread, nation might not aware whichever the party governs, our daily lives must become harder than now. We have to solve this enormous debts. I would love Tory to win, but I do not want them to be blamed for clearing Brown's mess. |
i disagree with you sooty in saying we have to solve enormous debts < we can not have people who goven the country makeing things tighter and harder for everyone on low wages while the rich keep on living it up < its not fair and its not right < so the joe would say to the debt problem >< let all the high earners pay for it seen as it was all high erners that got us into this mess in the first place < ie bankers.

Who pays the debts? Yes, we may have to rely on high earners. But I do not think it is not enough. By the way we can not blame bankers for everything. One of Brown's biggest mistake was change of pension system I think. One of my friends, much younger than me was paying into her private pension fund for a long time. But since Brown changed the system, she stopped it and bought a property as her future pension. The mortgage amount was similar with the pension she was paying. A lots of people did similar, I read papers around that time. Less money to pension funds, and properties price has gone up. Already Brown had announced, "no more boom and bust". Ha ha Joe, these things were from a paper I read every day. I went to Tesco this afternoon. While I was waiting for my friend I went to a cafe. I found Mirror there and read it. Expectedly there were full of anti Tory. Then a paper I read is anti Labour. Pen is Power. Anyway what is a point what I am saying. I can not vote as I am not British. I do not have the guts to give up Japanese nationality as we are not allowed to have duel nationalities.:o |
well you are in a tricky one there sooty < the joe sends some love to a friend.
|
I do agree with his views on education and classroom sizes, Though I would like Cameron as our prime minister.
