Braden 25-04-2010 11:45 AM

I don't do anything..

But my dad starts the car :p

Step on it generally.

Depends how far away you are, you often see them turn red and keep going..

Thing is its better to go through them sometimes.. like if your on a 40 road, you would have to slam your breaks on making it more dangerous.

Amber lights are on for 3 seconds, thats how I judge it, if I can make it in 3 seconds then just go for it. Otherwise just stop because you'll go through a red.

I'm learning so I'm told to stop at the line most of the time, been through a few amber lights though when my instuctor or dad told me to. I think it depends how far away you are from the lights.

stop

spend some time on nothingtoxic.com looking at crashes and victims.

or see in real time a leg on a road and a man screaming in agony in his death throws

stop

Shasown 25-04-2010 04:06 PM

Depends on the speed I am doing, traffic flow behind me and whether or not it is safe to stop, or safe to go.

Amber does not mean stop. It means stop if it is safe to do so.

Have they invented traffic lights deep deep in the highlands? I was under the impression that everybody transported about in white military jumbos up there :conf:

Tom 25-04-2010 09:27 PM

Just another question, do any of you find your biting point at red traffic lights and then purposely roll forward a bit even when the lights are on red?

Kerry 26-04-2010 12:40 AM

Don't drive

Kerry 26-04-2010 12:41 AM

I'm not running a red light, it's amber so their light would still be red:conf:
