Ive a feeling they havent changed the basic layout!

Anyone get the sinking feeling that theyve not changed the basic layout from BB10

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 04-06-2010 12:05 PM

it doesnt really matter imo as long as the house is decorated nicely

Jayson 04-06-2010 12:06 PM

They already changed it for CBB

OlderBlagger 04-06-2010 12:06 PM

Glass partitions.

Totally agree, cause...IMO, i thought last years decor was awful, i didn't like the house at all.

Matt 04-06-2010 12:07 PM

Me too. And the garden looks disgusting. What happened to the days when we just had modern, nice-looking houses?

Nick.B 04-06-2010 12:08 PM

I don't care if it hasn't changed, as long as it looks nice.

I don't care about anything atm... we've got Live Streaming back! That's all I wanted!

No, they didnt.

elliebrew 04-06-2010 12:09 PM

It was such an ugly layout. BB9s was much nicer and brighter and open.

CBB7 was exactly the same layout at BB10

This.

I was saying to Jordann, the BB9 Garden was the last garden we had a funky cool design on.

The wall was great and colourful and that, this year the wall looks disgusting and the trees/bushes on the roof just look messy.

Hate it.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 04-06-2010 12:09 PM

and dont forget, a good house doesnt make a good series. BB8 has had the best house to date and look what happened there

Well, they made it look a hell of a lot different.

Probably, with all the boring rectangle rooms, i miss the days when the BB houses where know for been cool and modern not a tacky mess :bored:

bb8s was horrible. The box house. literally a series of painted boxes attached to each other. It was garish, small and made my eyes sore.

BB9 house had interesting angles, bright open rooms

JohnnyBB 04-06-2010 12:14 PM

anythings an improvement on the bb10 house!

Jack_ 04-06-2010 12:14 PM

The best layouts were the BB6/BB7's one. Now it's just like this:

stairs > front door > main area > garden

With rooms ajoining onto those areas.

BB8 had the worst house to date, garish, needlessly small and full of tits.

Sigh.

The Big Brother house has become as recognisable a character as any of the many housemates that have walked through its illustrious doors over the past 10 series’. Each year its décor and styling has set the tone to how that series will play out. As we say goodbye to the iconic programme this summer, Big Brother bosses have gone to huge lengths to create a house that is fitting for this momentous occasion.

Continuing with the celebratory theme, this year’s house is an eclectic mixture of circus and carnival, and the hidden and the mysterious. It is Alice in Wonderland meets Salvador Dali, as bright colours and unexpected motifs fill the interior and exterior décor in an explosion of patterns that resemble a fairytale gone bad.

In the garden a fair ground carousel come smoking area sits alongside a stone-clad swimming pool and round wicker snug. Painted green foliage climbs up the walls to a cloudy sky as the odd circus animal is dotted around in this scene that resembles the gardens of Babylon. Look out for the bear, horses and of course… the chickens!

The outside comes inside as clouds line the walls of the living area, foliage decorates the surfaces and images of birds are scattered around. The boundaries to all rooms are blurred with glass walls and sculptures dividing the house into set areas. There is no where to hide.

The circus theme continues in the bedroom, with pictures of clowns, strong-men and horses decorating the walls and furniture. There are 4 double and 5 single sleigh-like beds, meaning it’ll be a cosy and intimate stay for the brand new housemates.

While the bathroom appears to be the ultimate in luxury – with a tiled bath and glass open shower and spectacular mood lighting – it is in fact a homage to series’ gone past as discreet pictures of Davina ex-housemates and paparazzi are concealed within the floral wallpaper. Who will be the first to notice the extra eyes looking down at them? As ever, Big Brother is always watching!

Dont sigh at me.

I know theyve redecorated. Im stressing the 'LAYOUT' ie is the bedroom the same shape and in exactly the same place as BB10. same with the kitchen and bathroom etc etc

Heheh, I'm told it actually looks great.

Stu 04-06-2010 12:28 PM

It's a funky, fresh original sounding house that's different from the same old iPOD chic postmodern houses we have had for years. It's new. So online fans are bound to hate it.
