BB Should Scrap Evictions Alltogether

I see lots of complaining from fans of the show who are pleading with the (moronic) voters by asking them not to vote out entertaining housemates.

This is futile.

It aint gonna happen.

It's like asking a Great White NOT to chew you in half when you go diving in shark infested waters.

It's in the (moronic) voters nature to vote on impulse and irrationality, so pleading with them to not vote out good housemates is a waste of time.

There's only one answer (yes, BB production team, I'm talking to you):

Scrap evictions.

Replace them with punishment-themed tasks: the loser doesn't get evicted, they merely get punished for the whole weekend, or is rewarded whilst the rest of the house gets punished.. it doesn't matter, anything to spark conflict will work.

Anyway, my way displays the public can still waste their money by voting, and BB get their cash votes.

And, more importantly, real fans (like yours truly) get to enjoy BB with great housemates.

I'm expecting only sensible people to agree with this btw. The rest can kiss my arse. :joker:

Agreed. But the reason you haven't had any replies (other than this) is because others are too stupid to even understand what you're saying.

Yeah, we need diagrams to fully understand.

ILoveTRW 25-06-2010 10:20 PM

agreed and then it will be even more like the real world

King Gizzard 25-06-2010 10:22 PM

It'd go down the drain, you gotta give the public the choice of who they want to leave or else they will not feel involved in the show and feel distant from it.

Livia 25-06-2010 10:22 PM

I kind of take exception to these threads where someone rocks up and calls everyone who doesn't agree with them "moronic" and other silly names. Grow up. This is Big Brother. It's how it works... it's how it ALWAYS worked. People vote, and whoever gets the most votes is out. Just because they don't agree with you doesn't make them all wrong.

Sorry, but you are actually very wrong with this post. BB should have been altered to fit the viewing audience. The fact BB goes stale is the fault of both the moronic voters AND the BB production team. Period.

Frogwash! I already explained how the viewers would engage with the show, or weren't you paying attention?

........And the distinct lack of diagrams.

Speedster, you can't think of a valid reason as to why this proposal is unworkable. Your only reply revolves around infantile ramblings. Pitiful.

I've already explained a workaround for how they'd keep their income numbnuts

Cigarpain 25-06-2010 11:18 PM

yeah i was thinking how much better it'd be if there was no evictions.

Yep, it would. Though don't expect these ingrates to understand that. So far, hardly anyone has come to the sensible conclusion I have.

evictions are exciting and generate tension in the house
also the voters have voted out the boring ones so far this year:dance:

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 25-06-2010 11:30 PM

how would they get voted out then?

You'd just vote to save in the final 2 weeks. Simple.

Lol I didn't need to, everyone else has. My philosophy is "if it aint broke don't fix it", the system they have now seems to be working for most people so there's no point messing with it simply because one or two people thing that there is.

And anyway, I was just messing. Sorry.

Evictions are not exciting, they are depressing. Well, for REAL fans anyway. The reason they're depressing is because REAL fans know their favourite housemate will go whilst the resident dullard(s) will stay. I can tell you're not a real fan btw.

IF you can prove that the vast majority agree with you, and IF you can prove to the makers of the show that you're way is best, then good luck, otherwise get used to not being taken seriously.

So you're saying Science was less entertaining than Orlaith? They went head to head in 2005 and she stayed (but walked on her own accord) and he was evicted. And yet.. he was at the centre of a lot of drama and entertainment.

Btw, an analysis of what you require isn't necessary:

You don't need a proffessor of anal-ology to tell you that s h i t stinks.

unusualpet 26-06-2010 12:02 AM

I agree I've thought the same before as well
too late now though seeing as it's the last series and it's already underway :(
