Isn't this supposed to be Bens day in hell? so this is not a task he had to pass,it was his punishment,BB KNEW Ben would fail but he is still being punished by having the housemates turn on him,so why are people making so much fuss,he IS being punished and it will last for days,Ben hasn't failed a task,the task was designed to earn him his days in hell,he has already been branded a coward by Nathan,which I must say he took very well,Ben is making some great entertainment in there,albeit quite cruel from BB,plus it is guaranteed he will be up for eviction next week. Ben IS being punished so what's the problem

Seems more like Dave's day in hell so far.........and possibly the whole house's further week in hell if they choose to give Ben an alternative punishment for the one he wimped-out of and he dodges that too.

No probs if he is. I think he'd survive against most of them in there, and even if he didn't he's made enough of a mark to do very well on the outside.
As for that dullard thick chav Nathan, who the ***** does he think he is when he himself stomped off the shopping task after 5 minutes causing them to lose one part of it.

Now you've gone OT on your own thread. What was happening today was a PUNISHMENT for repeatedly talking about a ToT Secret task and the interactions with ToT.

You can't predict how the housemates were going to react. Because sometimes they appear to want to say 'oh, it doesn't matter - we're a group, we all love you', and other times they appear to completely turn on people. You can't call it.

His punishment was supposed to be the Mike Hawke task, amongst other things, he refused that main bit, and thus should receive further punishment, which, if Big Brother had any sense, would be a punishment on the entire group - and harsh, i.e. taking away their suitcases, shopping, toilet roll, furniture etc etc. Then we'll see how the group reacts...

has to do put it on Screen so they can all watch.

If he refuses again
they will All , including steve, have to do his task.

Could someone just explain exctly what has happened??? All I know is that Ben is being punished today...have seen him briefly in army gear in a room with some american guy... can someone tell me what has happened???

Ben was to be made to do a physical exercises regime. After 5 minutes he gave-up and chose Dave to take his place.

Dave made a reasonable effort (if Dave hadn't he had been told the whole house would then face punishment) People have been guessing that might well have been the food budget withdrawn again.

I have said that since day 1.

But BB must have known Ben would not do that,so he is being punished as BB knew the housemates would not react favourably,and wasn't it Shabby and someone else who first stood up and said about the tree,I think BBs punishment for Ben was NOT the excercise task,I think it is the housemates reaction to him not finishing it.

This is why I hate him. He isn't willing to do tasks properly imo. He's just a wet fart or a person and I have not a clue why people like him on here.

I'm not a huge fan of Ben but I don't get why he is being punished for failing to complete a task. It's not as though he didn't try to start an arm wrestling competition but Shabby shot the idea down almost before the words came out his mouth. Plus if someone like Ben said to you:

"I was an arm wrestling champion at school."
You'd laugh him out of the room.
Secondly I don't feel Ben did talk about his task from the ToT, he lied about what the task was. This could of been to protect himself or to protect all the housemates who were eating at the table, at the time where he was outed. He could of attempted to of lied but it wouldn't of been worth it as Nathan and Steve had come into the bathroom and confronted him earlier.
It's not like when Shabby told Ciaohme about her task, without being conrfronted or really having a reason!
