I take pity for some of young memebers on TiBB who didn't catch BB at its peak

It was wonderful everyone was talking about BB
everyone fought over their fav:joker:
In work they would even talk about it

now its very much a cult
i feel for any young BB fan who;s only start watching since bb8

Niamh. 16-07-2010 11:06 AM

yeah BB2, BB3 and BB5 were classics for me

DrunkerThanMoses 16-07-2010 11:09 AM

BB6 for me.

BB_Eye 16-07-2010 11:10 AM

Even BB4 had everyone talking... mostly about how boring it was, lol.

BB6 was like crack for me.

BJ 16-07-2010 11:10 AM

The earlier shows were much better. HMs weren't so aware of the game and were less inhibited. There were less wannabes and more alcohol. And it's true that everyone was talking about it

Lee. 16-07-2010 11:12 AM

Hahah.. I remember when nasty Nick was removed. There was no live feed or anything but it went round like wildfire. I was getting phone calls at work about it! And then there was a special extended programme that night.. it was soo exciting! :D

Visage 16-07-2010 11:12 AM

It's been a great series, I hope it returns in full swing sometime in the not so distant future.

I think she was at her nastiest when deprived of nicotine, so I can kind of empathise with her there.. :)

yeah, it was sweet and innocent and the thought of cashing in on a rommance through BB wasn't even heard of at that stage

It's my favorite because I loved the whole Paul/Helen romance and Brian Dowling was just soooooooo funny, That year was the year that I really got hooked so it has sentimental value for me as well

StGeorge 16-07-2010 11:29 AM

IMO BB went downhill after BB4 as the producers tried to get away from the boring tag that BB4 had set. BB5 was way over the top but entertaining, but ater that it just went for shock value to bring it back to popularity.
Unfortunately it has failed miserably IMO.
