Some1 explain how the Drunk Monk is less unpopular than Ben
 

I was shocked.

Ben was a marmite figure that people mostly either loved or hated. Whereas Dave is less polarizing and people feel less strongly about him, therefore he didn't get as many votes to evict him.

Because the UK voting public aren't very intelligent people.

Its not about them being intelligent its about them being manipulated.

Plus the fact regardless what people think, there was/is a class issue in the UK and Ben appeared if not upper class as Upper Middle Class. A target waiting to be shot down for some unfortunately.

Most of the people who vote are chavs who hate posh people :xyxwave:

because ben got more tv coverage than Dave over the weeks, and maybe also yesterday's task saved dave

I'm sorry but Ben was sleazy, lazy, manipulative and bitchy. The reason he got voted out was because of all that and possibly some of his views not because he is 'upper class'.

To say the British Public have been manipulated is a joke. Yes the HL show can be heavily edited, but that doesn't stop him from being so repulsive.

well I neither liked nor hated ben. I found him funny at times, repulsive at others.

Like I said before tonights eviction, the one person in that house who was wronged by ben and has a genuine gripe with him is Mario. So I can live with Ben being evicted.

I dont actually believe the figures one bit, I am sure it was much closer than that and I ahve little faith now in the BB set up, they've done so much fiddling with the format this series that a lot more is shrouded in secrecy. Like the phone calls scandals that have hit Channel 4 before, I believe this has been and maybe most have in this series,a manipulated result by BB itself. They have certainly portrayed BEN this week in a poor light and have done all they could to promote JJames,totally protecting him.Dave has been kept very netral too and no way at all was Dave more popular than Bne, on the most favourite housemate list here Dave was a good 12% behind BEN and is till low compared to Bens last figure even on the ne list.
Somehtin smells as to BB and the way the production team have edited highlights and manipulated the series so smelly is it that it leaves a very unsavoury taste indeed and I fear BB will get their aim of a JJames win which they clearly want for some reason and they have tried all ways to character assassinate BEN all through the series while ignoring all the really bad things JJames has done and more to the point given no real punishments to him and Josie for repeated rule breaking. It all stinks to high heaven.

Ben fan, need I say more? :p

well. ben has natural humour and comedy withot trying. whereas the monk has zero personality. i mean just watch dave, his humour is at expense of everyone else. plus he stabbed ben in back. but thats just my opinon. ha ha.

i mean im female.and if had choice between spending a night (and i dont mean sex ) between dave and ben i'd chose ben. not least dave rubbing his belly saying im ssooooo hapyyyy right noww

Maybe the wives were told to pretend that Steve and Dave werent there, lets face it they would have both looked pretty bad if the wives had started talking to them.

a few reasons

1. some of his fans were stupid enough to think they could get JJ out this week

2. outside of the Internet forums Ben isn't that popular

3. biased editing to make Dave look like a saint
