What is the glory

Dave seems to use the word at random.

Boothy 23-08-2010 10:14 PM

Glory.

SocietyIsRuined 23-08-2010 10:15 PM

The positive belief that something good is going to happen to you through your faith in a man upstairs who asks for money all the time.

In turn stolen from that book, The Bible a collection of stories about God by various authors.

The glory of God is the manifestation and revelation of His love

The Glory ?

Hi Guys,I have asked a number of people in my church about the glory.most Christians, including myself have never heard of the expression.Although it is mentioned in scripture as far as i know.I can only imagine it was used by Dave as a gimmick on the show. There are many forms of Christianity. But a true Christian is someone who has been saved by Jesus. That is someone who has repented thier sins before God and asked Jesus to be thier Lord and Saviour.Jesus died on the cross to take away the sin of the whole world. So if you trully accept that Jesus died for you, repent your sins ,and promise to have him as your Lord and Saviour then when you die you will live forever through having faith in Him.

Glory (wheeze) - just means he's lying again!

Stacey. 26-08-2010 09:51 AM

I think he just uses it whenever he feels like it. I swear it doesn't even fit into what he's saying half the time.

flamingGalah! 26-08-2010 12:49 PM

Crimson Dynamo 26-08-2010 12:55 PM

A parroted phrase from fake American religionists

zotec 26-08-2010 05:30 PM

It became his over-used catch phrase which he felt he would need to be remembered like Corins "lovin it" and "buzzin". Not a word that you would think a seriously religious bloke like he proclaimed to be would use meaninglessly all day long.

Christian values

There are lots of different Christian values within the differing Christian Churches.Did you know that the cross should be an open cross, and not one showing Jesus because Jesus was crucified but overcame the cross and rose again after 3 days.So that when you see the cross it should not be shown with the image of Christ upon it.Many churches including the penticostals speak regulary in tongues. Its a form of language used at the time just after Christs assention and mentioned in the book of Acts. The fish symbal often seen on cars was used when Christians in times past met in secret. They would draw the symbal in the sand when meeting a fellow Christian. The Rapture is when all of Gods followers will be taken up to heaven just before the seven days of tribulation in the days preseeding the second coming of Christ.
