Paul on Virgin Radio Part 2

Anyone else hear Virgin Radio this morning. Seems Paul Clarke will be on on Wednesday morning. Lucky me I've got the morning off so will be able to listen at my leisure.:hello::hello::hello:

Princess Pink Pants 22-07-2002 07:20 PM

wot time will it be on????!

Im determined not to miss it this time!

what was the link to the audio clip of it?

Romantic Old Bird 22-07-2002 07:25 PM

I GOT ALL EXCITED THIS MORNING, REHEARSED MY EXCUSES TO GET INTO WORK LATE, CHECKED OUT THE WEBCAM (NO SUCH LUCK), AND THEN HEARD IT WASN'T UNTIL WEDNESDAY!

How can I wait until then to hear those dulcet tones again?:bawling:

Still, it will be worth it. Bring it on!:love::love:

LEE 22-07-2002 08:12 PM

I completely forgot it this morning so I was about to say I was pleased it was Wednesday, but then I remembered I'm working in Cambridge on Wednesday so prob won't be able to hear it. Does anyone know if you can get Virgin in Cambridge?

WILDCHILD 22-07-2002 08:26 PM

No it doesn't. I know there are some areas of the country that don't get it.

Princess Pink Pants 22-07-2002 10:26 PM

Does any1 know?

Is it likely to be very early?

Janette 22-07-2002 10:32 PM

The Breakfast Show is on from 6am till 9am, but don't despair, last time Paul was on it, he didn't make an appearance till about 8.30am!

Princess Pink Pants 22-07-2002 10:43 PM

I just looked on the website and it says the breakfast show is 6am til 10am, now Im just gonna make a note of the frequency, its got one for London and another for elsewhere!

The only things they have on the websie about Paul are from when he was on there just after he came out of the house, holding his sign up saying 'see you on Friday H'! Aaaw bless!

:paul::helen: - Cool! Wicked! Double Cool!

Janette 22-07-2002 10:45 PM

It won't be after 9am because they only play music for that hour, it's the first hour of the 9 - 5 no repeat day. :dazzler:

cc100 23-07-2002 10:45 AM

Princess Pink Pants 24-07-2002 01:04 PM

Thank god he's on Friday!

what did he say today? Missed it!

James 24-07-2002 03:34 PM

You can listen to the streaming version of the interview by clicking on this link:

mms://snoop.ginger.com/audio/200207/20020724085209.asf

I've converted it to an MP3 so you can download it for your media collections. :spin2: It's a 4.2 MB file:

I'll type the transcript later.

Romantic Old Bird 24-07-2002 05:01 PM

James, thanks a lot!

Unfortunately though, I can't seem to copy it this to disc or hard drive. It just opens and plays. Not that this isn't fan-bloody-tastic in itself of course, because the dulcet tones resonate throughout my solitary bower and I am as one with the great man himself!

However, I must be doing something wrong, so please, someone, what should I be doing????:conf:

wheelyjo 24-07-2002 05:07 PM

Paul sounded in great form and his interview was very informative and entertaining. I know I've said this countless times before, but I really think he would do extremely well as a Radio DJ. Wake up, Virgin Radio!!! :dazzler:

Princess Pink Pants 24-07-2002 06:48 PM

I tried both links but they come out really slow and deep, like when a tape starts to get old and go wrong!

I tried it on windows media player and the aol 1 as well, any ideas?

I cant hear a word they're sayin on it! :(

Princess Pink Pants 24-07-2002 06:49 PM

Im just gonna try it on real player!

Princess Pink Pants 24-07-2002 07:51 PM
