Evict The Bores - UBB Edition!

Despite efforts being in vain to keep Sam, Corin and John James in BB11 for the final, we shouldn't be defeated!

It's THE final Ch4 BB and while John and Coolio were both up last week we couldn't help but get rid of 1 of them in that very close clash of the titans, but now we have 6 people up and some of them have nothing to offer! No humour OR drama!

Even if there's an overdramatic HM you can not stand, if they stay over the bores then in the long run they'll have to clash with another volatile character, both for real and in the nominations and we can get back to having good old fashioned unpredictable evictions. More clash of the titans, more talking point.

Why should Nadia or Makosi have to go for ungreatful whingebag Ulrika, or nastily boring Nick?

It's your last chance to evict the bores.

Stop giving her compliments

stonedape 31-08-2010 01:36 PM

I fully support the contents of this thread, and move to add Preston to the list of targeted bores.

If Preston ever faces the public, he'd so be on my (s)hitlist lol. He's a bland 1 trick pony. In CBB he had a fiancee, but got with Chantelle. Now, 4 years on, it's the same old but this time the possible Chantelle romance is very hopelessly forced and not showing any signs of actually happening atm

She was more worthy than JJ, whether people still think she was fake, or not.

In what way worthy? Was it her interesting catchlines or thrilling storylines that entertained you????

She is using the divorce for sympathy and I think he is too,sad thing is it will work for her ,and shes equally as boring as him

I think the old Chantelle is still in there, she is bubbly, but you're right. She cannot survive on sympathy or just being 'nice' or because she was once a lot bubblier. She should be judged on how entertaining she is in this particular series.

Lol. Like I said, more so than JJ. I know she wasn't everyone's favourite, even Josie wasn't - and that's the nature of BB, no one is going to be unanimously liked by the viewing public. Corin still had more of a screen presence whether it's her loved/loathed catchlines or her orange radiance compared to either JJ or Ulrika. JJ's screen presence is background character who only reemphasised John James' opinions, and Ulrika's screen presence is drab, moany wench.

That's not me being biased, because I liked JJ as a person, but not as an entertaining HM. For the sake of the final series I just took a step back, put my personal opinions aside for a moment to evaluate what exactly they offer the show. I would urge others to evict HMs not for selfish reasons like "So and so's up against my favourite" or "So and so's so smug they have to go immidiately!" but how it would affect the show on the bigger picture. And when it comes to the final say of who you want to win, when we have an all round good finale, you can vote however you please.

Preston Chantelle Victor and Nick

Jordan. 31-08-2010 02:14 PM

Agreed with you but its not going to happen unfortunately :(

BB_Eye 31-08-2010 02:26 PM

I'm with you on this, but must disagree with you on Nick. Also, although not a bad housemate, Nikki is surprisingly uninteresting this year.

Lol, that's not the right attitude. If it doesn't work this time atleast I'd have died trying rather that let the 'evict the bores' campaign cease after BB11 lol.

With Nick I agreed with other members at the start of the series that it would be a fitting ending for him to win UBB as a 'hero' rtaher than the villain he was back in BB1 because he isn't nasty, that was all overblown, instead he does seem quite nice. However, he can be entertaining and nice which he's yet to properly do. With Victor in the house Nick might finally come out of his shell, which would be a good thing, but in the mean time he's not done a great deal apart from sit in the background.

Nikki is very very uninteresting this year. I was never her fan in BB7 because of her off-the-rictor-scale rants and the audacity that she was put back in, because this remains one of the huge cracks that lead to BB's downfall. So she's the only HM I 100% do not want to win UBB for those reasons, but putting aside this, if she does start to provide entertainment she should atleast make it far in to the competition over the deadwood.

Ulrika and that guy from the first BB are by far the most boring

Bollocks.

People like you ruin the show.

dannyboy 31-08-2010 04:53 PM

So who are our bores this time? Nick and Ulrika? Cos I want Nikki Nadia Makosi and Chantelle to stay. Think Chantelle will, not sure bout the others.

Ideal double eviction- Nick and Preston?

ps do we know for sure if it's vote to save or vote to evict yet?

That's exactly it. Ulrika and Nick atm.

Just noticed Preston hasn't recieved a single nomination! Perhaps that'll change with Victor and Michelle in there. :)

Mac Hiavellian 02-09-2010 04:12 PM

So I can't help but think Nadia and Makosi are still favourite for the double chop? :(

How Ulrika can be favoured over them I'll never know

They are both favourites for the chop still. The audience has moved on these days. The majority of the audience vote the good housemates out and leave dull like Ulrika in there.

I wouldn't really be shocked if Ulrika won with the audience it has today. Instead of leaving Makosi in there to mess with all their heads, she will be out Friday. :(

Society really is ruined. And UBB will be also if no one understands that

*mazedsalv** 02-09-2010 05:52 PM

Thing is I defenitley agree with getting Ulrika out to save Makosi.

But I would also want Nadia to go.... I like everyone else more than her....
