There'd be no other reality shows without BB! Most of them are terrible imitations of BB

Half of the haters have probably never even watched the show.

And to be quite honest, Big Brothe rhas changed the face of television, and most of these people are probably fans of X Factor/IAC etc - so they have BB to thank.

What do they know??? most of them have never watched it, or maybe once and not got into it, like my OH, And he says he hates it but has never really watched it.

People think they're ABOVE Big Brother, it's become normal to slag it off with no reason or evidence to support your claims that's why the Last week starting in August shall be known as BB Awareness Week! ;)

Pretty much every soap, the Hollyoaks Music Show, Mistresses, The Deep, Britain's Got Talent, the Jeremy Kyle Show, Watchdog, Deal or No Deal, need I go on?

I hate this country sometimes.

The snobbery shown towards BB by a lot of Brits is unbelievable

The trouble with the BBC is that they do not acknowledge the viewers' wishes for higher quality programming and tend to hold ratings on a pedestal at the expense of respectable PR and all else, despite the fact that the license fee virtually guarantees their revenue.

Hence great shows go to die on BBC4 while the mainline channels get Mistresses, Top Gear, Strictly Come Dancing, the One Show and Watchdog. :rolleyes:
