because as a whole I enjoy the show, but to compare samanda with fred and rose west is just a step to far for davina.

I agree, if parmnion of all people can find this sick, then there is no way I could possibly defend it.

they do rehearse, but i'm assuming you know that.Only a fool would presesnt a show without first knowing what they will be reading out to the audience.

That doesnt necessarily mean she has a say in what is written in the script. She's a mouthpiece, she says what she's told to say.

And it's not like that was particularly offensive, I did think about it when I heard her say it and in my opinion she did kind of pause whilst saying it to make a point that it was kind of ridiculous.

But you cant blame her for what someone else has written.

I can blame her because she will have had a say in what is aired and could have flatly refused to say that, which would have got the so called joke dropped and replaced with another one.

You'd be pretty dumb to think that the presenters don't get a say in what they say.

Why would an employee of a company get a choice in what they say? If i'm in work and my boss tells me to do something that is part of my actual job I do it, or you can leave because they are paying your wages.

It's very naive to think an employee of a company could do otherwise.

Why do people on these things claim they know things as fact when they dont? How do you know as a fact that Davina specifically gets a choice, to the point where you can actually imply that i'm thick for thinking otherwise?

I have knowledge of how tv works. It is part of the bosses job to keep the public face of the tv company happy.

In this case the public face of bbbm is davina, so if davina was unhappy about reading something out she could easily have refused to read it out and they would have changed it for her to something more suitable.

She said it with a huge grin on her face so i'm of the belief that she was more than happy to say it, which is why i'm blaming her for saying it.

Now if you would like me to **** off or whatever it is behind the asterix I suggest you request I **** off through the mods and not on the forum as unfortunatly that coudl see you banned.

I won't report you however as I believe the mods patrol the threads and can mod it themselves without me grovelling.
