Live Show Performers *Updated - Some confirmed!!*

Quote:

Stars expected to make an appearance on the live shows of The X Factor are Take That, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga.

An insider on the show told The Daily Star Sunday:

“Simon wants only the best and most current stars appearing on the show this year.

“As well as getting music legends like Elton John on board, he also wants to bring in Justin Bieber and Pixie Lott because he knows that’s who the younger viewers really want to see.

“Simon is still desperate to convince Madonna to appear on finals night but she has always refused.”

Simon Cowell has invited Pixie Lott, Nicole Scherzinger and Katy Perry to return to the X Factor later this year. The three singers all acted as guest judges during the audition rounds of the show and Cowell was so impressed with their offerings, that he asked them to perform on a live show and offer a master class to the finalists.

Fourth guest judge Natalie Imbruglia is currently judging on the Australian X Factor and assisted Dannii Minogue at her judges houses rounds last week. However Geri Halliwell, who joined the panel in Glasgow, has not been asked to return.
It's from the daily star, but they were pretty accurate with the line up last year. Most of these seem probable, we know that: Joe Mcelderry, Alexandra & JLS will be back this year.

Who do you want to see later this year

Update, so, these people are confirmed for the show later this year:

Quote:

Katy Perry, Pixie Lott, Cheryl, Joe, Alexandra Burke, Justin Bieber, JLS, Take That, Elton john
WTF at Justin Bieber :|

Madonna. That was the only reason I continued to watch last years horrible series in hope that she would preform (Which they said she would in the newspapers).

Smithy 19-09-2010 03:29 PM

She was gonna duet with Stacey in the final, but then the stuck up bitch pulled out last minute

Guy O said she had ''nothing to premote' as Revolver was released and flopped (I dont considor that a real single anyway).

Smithy 19-09-2010 03:33 PM

She was touring at the time :bored: Clearly the money wasn't enough

Shaun 19-09-2010 03:34 PM

lol @ Geri. As if she would anyway.

But eh. Typical list of fame*****s.

Would only be interested in Elton & GaGa from that list.
It's difficult to predict who would perform because so many artists wouldn't be seen dead near the X Factor, and a lot of the big names aren't even doing anything this year (Britney, Madonna, Christina, Beyoncé).

I predict an appearance from Rihanna, Katy Perry and maybe Brandon Flowers if he's doing anything major. The rest will be previous X Factor alumni :bored:

They did a duet at the grammys it'd be amazing if they recreated it, but I doubt they will, I could see her going on and singing You and I though.

Christina has Burlesque, and erm... Bionic D;

I think:
P!nk will go on, as she's got a greatest hit's album out with 3 new songs
Ke$ha is re-releaing animal so her
Shakira
Taylor Swift
Susan Boyle
Kelly Clarkson
Rod Stewart
and Avril Lavigne, as they all have new material out

Shaun 19-09-2010 03:45 PM

Yeah Christina does have those, but she also has a glaring lack of enthusiasm for promotion.

P!nk would be good. The others are quite likely I guess, not sure about Rod or Kelly, and SuBo seems to be on another breakdown.

Maybe Kanye West will. Eminem would probably turn it down.

Smithy 19-09-2010 04:02 PM

Eminem would be great, but his songs are like, really explicit, so he may just have to do the least explicit song from the album

B.E.P are trying to get an album out for the end of the year, so them too

Callum 19-09-2010 05:18 PM

I hope Kings of Leon perform on there but I doubt they would. Other than them I'm really hoping Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Gaga, Ke$ha and Katy Perry perform.

Madonna would be incredible but she doesn't have any new material out this year.

Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow? I know their single is released the week before the first Live Show, but they'd be great.

EDIT: Oh, and when are Take That releasing their new material? I can see XF getting the exclusive 'first' reunion performance.

Callum 19-09-2010 05:24 PM

Mariah Carey also has a Christmas album out in November so I can see her performing too

Gary and Rob are doing Strictly. I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that TT were going to be mentors and their first 'reunioned' *vom* performance was gonna be on X Factor.

I think there's an obvious reason why Madge won't do it - she'll get upstaged (vocally) by the contestants.

Good list though I suppose. Always wanted to see Elton John do X Factor, or Phil Collins, someone like that.

Would like to see more British acts too like Ellie Goulding, Florence, imagine if Amy Winehouse agreed? Epic.

Callum 19-09-2010 06:14 PM

Sadly I think a lot of the performers will be former XF contestants. Diana Vickers, JLS, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Joe McElderry and Olly Murs all have new music coming out.

Florence and Amy would be great but I don't think Ellie is big enough yet

Leona not so much, but the others do :/ Hopefully they'll have 2 a week again and that may seem like there aren't as many of them

LaLaLand 19-09-2010 06:19 PM

Cher is making a comeback to the charts soon remember...

Hmm...what about Shayne Ward? His website have finally confirmed a release date of 15th November for his new album 'Obsessions'.

He's still signed under Simon, isn't he? It's just a question of whether they would let him perform or not...I hope so :D

Yay :D

Callum 19-09-2010 11:13 PM

Nicole has a new song out soon produced by RedOne so no doubt she will perform it on X Factor

Strictly Jake 20-09-2010 12:21 PM

usher? Neyo? The saturdays?

BBfan46 20-09-2010 09:59 PM

You can rule out Kanye West and Eminem, Simon hates rap music. I'd imagine Lady GaGa is a dead certainty with "Born This Way" out in November, I'd also expect a Michael Jackson week to promote his first posthumous album too. Katy Perry will no doubt have had Firework over and done with by then so maybe Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) as her next single?!

Smithy 20-09-2010 10:01 PM

Born This Way isn't out until next year
