Jeremy Kyle, no seriously, Relationship [Well not relationship, idk is it?] Advice?

JEREMY KYLE

Welcome to the show!

I asked out this girl and she said no, Could I change her mind?

You know when a girl, you have a good friendship with and stuff, and you've known her for 11 years and sh*t and everything's going great but then suddenly she rejects you when you ask her out and basically ruins your day?

Yeah, well like you know when that happens..

Is it possible to change a 'rejected' mind?

Like seriously girls that reject you, is there a possibility they could ever change their mind and go out with you?

And why?

Patrick 27-10-2010 12:26 AM

Sorry I mean and HOW not why pfft

Vicky. 27-10-2010 12:29 AM

*Throws envelope at patrick*

Benjamin 27-10-2010 12:30 AM

Honestly, probably not. As hard as it is, at least she gave you an honest answer rather than not be interested but play you along.

It may also be because you have a good friendship that she said no, maybe she doesn't want to ruin what you guys already have, trust me it sucks when that happens with a friend, I'm sure a lot of us have been there. I know I have and wish that our friendship was still the same, but too much bitterness came about

There are plenty of people out there, and you never know, one day she may change her mind :)

Miss Ivy Balls 27-10-2010 12:30 AM

Did she give you a reason, Patrick?

She may change her mind. How do you go as friendship is concerned?

Do you click?

Don't harass her, though, just be a smooth operator. :)

Jords 27-10-2010 12:30 AM

And the DNA results show that Patrick...
...
...
YOU ARE the father of the baby.

Oh sh!t wrong envelope *scruffles about*

Depends on the girl.

Dont chase after her, buy her things or anything. Just leave it a few days and see what happens between you.

Go back to exactly the same kind of relationship/friendship you had before you asked her out.

Ideally you want her to see that you arent bothered by her refusal, this shows her you arent clingy in need of a relationship etc, and it may actually make her change her mind.

If she changes the state of the friendship between you then there are a few things you can do, the best thing is if she ignores you etc then give her space, dont approach her, talk to her, email, text or otherwise contact her for a while.

Patrick 27-10-2010 12:36 AM

YAY She texted me there now,
I get so happy when she texts

Yeah possibly,

That's a fair reason like.

I feel like there's something proper wrong with me, because I asked about 2 girls out this year [not including her] and they both said no.

One was far more harsh about it though than the other.

And then everyone else is like in a relationship, even people who are complete and utter wankers.

Yeah we get along great :)
We like talk every day and stuff.

She didn't give me a reason, I asked her basically after I had my little FML Sleep afterwards, I said 'Are you just not ready or something? Like do you not want to go out with me or do you basically not want to go out with ANYONE?' and she just said 'Both' that was as close I got to a reason I think.

Don't be in such a rush to be in a r/ship, it'll happen when it happens, just enjoy being single while you can.

As for the girl that was harsh, thank god you are not with her, if she is like that then she is not worth your time.

And I'm sure there is nothing wrong with you, we all get rejections now and again, and it's hard, but you survive them

Jords 27-10-2010 12:39 AM

Oh Paddy I know loads of people getting in relationships too, and loads that are desperate to be.

Not too bothered myself, would be nice but meh I know Im not exactly on the top of people's menu. Yet! I will get a bit fitter, just cba right naaaaa.

Do you really want to be? Or just a bit disappointed she said no?

Yeah like, I was going to call her later tonight and ask her abit more about it and stuff like why and that.

But It probably will come across as full on desperate.

LMAO Jords.

Love the confidence.
Oh my god, you should ask Christina out ;) I seen her liking your statuses on Facebook alot  She wants abit :P

Jk.

Actually she might but still let's just say LOL Jk.

Abit of both.
Like I'm quite upset she said no because our families and stuff get along and her parents tease her about me and mine do the same so like it's so annoying when mine did that today after her saying no, everything seems abit weird now because of it.

And yeah, like on Facebook everyday more and more chavs 'Is in a relationship' and it's like 'HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET A GIRLFRIEND? When you don't even know how to treat yourself right?'

You know?

So Yeah abit of both.

Some of them only put in a relationship to make themselves feel better mate. The only relationships some have is with their hand.

Miss Ivy Balls 27-10-2010 12:47 AM

Patrick.

*wissles to runner........"tissues please"

Now, it must be hard, but we'll deal with this.

It is hard out there. Don't feel like you've got to follow the normal.

Wait until you find the right person. What does your family and goldfish think about this?

This audience member speaks sense.

Don't do this Patrick. It will just be awkward.

She has already said no and she will think you're pestering her.

You don't want to ruin the friendship because if you do that then the relationship side is totally blown.
