X Factor: Katie Waissel is "incredible" says Matt Cardle
 

X Factor’s Matt Cardle has described troubled singer Katie Waissel as “incredible”.

In a surprising admission Matt also revealed that he has a lot of respect for 24-year-old Katie for what she has gone through.
The pair have made up after a row in which Matt branded her "a fame hungry t***" after it was reported that Katie had claimed they were having a fling.
In Matt’s video diary this week he says: “Kate was in the bottom two, bless her, she’s doing so well.
“That’s twice she’s had to do that and it’s quite incredible how she pulls it together. I’ve got a lot of respect for that.”

If he doesn't like her he should tell her.. I don't like him so much anymore, it's easy for him to gloat because he's not had to be in a sing-off yet as he's the golden boy.

Just a little fatal flaw in the OP. He said the way she pulled through the sing offs was incredible - not that she is incredible.
Also, Matt's gone down slightly in my estimation if he thinks wheezing through the first half of a song then sinking dramatically to the floor with a wet metaphorical ******* you all is worthy of admiration.

X Factor: Mary Byrne mothers ‘lovely’ Katie Waissel
 

Mary Byrne has admitted that she often feels very maternal towards some of her fellow X Factor contestants.

The Dublin mum of one has been missing her daughter Deborah since she joined the show but has now found a surrogate child in emotional singer, Katie Waissel.

When asked who she likes to mother in the house, Mary told X Magazine:

Probably Katie. She’s had bad times. and I wouldn’t like my daughter to have bad times like that. Katie’s a lovely person…never a day goes by where she doesn’t give me a hug and tell me that she loves me.

But Mary also admitted that living with so many teenagers does make her glad that she only ever had one child. She laughed:

Sometimes, when you’re sitting there and you hear them all screaming, you wonder what it’s like for a mother who has four or five children and think, “Oh my God…” But they respect me an awful lot and I feel very honoured to have that with them.

Katie has star quality.

Its actually 3 times she has had to survive the bottom 2 in 5 weeks. As for being a Star,she never will be in a million years.
