Shaun 09-11-2010 10:51 PM

I like it on pretzels but can't see any practical use for the stuff.

Beso 09-11-2010 10:51 PM

Is liking pepper an age thing ? cause I have it on everything now, heaps of it. Love it, that and mustard.

Beso 09-11-2010 10:52 PM

I went down a Salt mine a couple of weeks ago when I was in Poland, it was really weird how you could lick all the walls down there

Kerry 09-11-2010 10:58 PM

Rock salts better for cooking. Table salt for fish and chips (for example)

If you can get the sodding stuff out the bloody tiny holed shaker it comes in.

Kerry 09-11-2010 11:00 PM

It's often sold ready to use these days.

Kerry 09-11-2010 11:01 PM

Lol, they encourage you to do it, it tasted far too salty though

BB_Eye 09-11-2010 11:02 PM

Just sdo away with the container and use a salt mill. It's more than worth it and much better than table salt.

Huh? You mean the comment I deleted? I assumed at first OP was trying to get it out of a salt shaker, but then he mentioned it was the container is came with. Didn't think deleting it would be a big deal. :conf2:

It makes the size of the grains of rock salt a bit pointless if you're just going to grind them up into salt. :nono:

True I guess. Guess you'll just have to take the top off and sprinkle :)
